I took a writing or literature class or something in high school. I was the only dude, and most of the girls including the teacher were on the feminism wagon. I would talk about girls needing to know their role in the household when talking about book we were reading. I didn't get the best grades but it was pretty damn funny to have a whole class room of up tight people all butthurt about nothing.

Saturday is probably going to be the busiest day ever at Mt. Hood. I will ski anyways but darn it . This is the one down side to Santa being such an inspired skier.
 
jeez, snow driving isn't that hard, right? I got stuck behind some people going 5 mph about on my way home last night. about an inch on the roads but still, nothing too impossible. its even more annoying considering you're stuck behind audis and beamers and shit you know can handle that kind of weather.

also really wish my other job didn't blow my phone up this AM asking where I was when I told at least 2 people that are in charge a month back that Saturday work is a no-go. now the head boss is texting me asking where I get off thinking I can dip out of work. Two Christmas's ago my grandpa had a stroke. He never really came out of it and passes away last month. Yesterday my Uncle Bill had a stroke just like my grandpa did on Christmas Day... Shit is fucking crazy. Fuck.
 
My girlfriend and I are going through some shit right now that is driving me nuts.

Background is that she cheated on me this summer while I was fire fighting, and I didn't find out until October. We moved in together and its all fucked. So I decided to try and work it out with her and just make a go of it.

The problem now is that it opened up a whole can of worms. Like she repressed all these emotions over so many years and now it's all coming out. She cries almost everyday, and basically can't forgive her self. She gets these panic attacks because she thinks I'm going to leave her and freaks out. As a result of all this she ha basically lost almost all affection for me, she is grossed out by the idea of sex, and tells me that I'm a reminder of all the things she did wrong.

I love her, and she loves me but this just feels fucked. She says she wants to fight for us, and for me not to let her ruin us. I really don't know what to do.

Plus I've been sick for 4 months, and all the doctors I see seem to be semi retarded.

Obviously the food game is a cut-throat field to be a part of but its hilarious dealing with these dudes who think they're the next bobby flay. Over-priced shit quality dishes with a bunch of greasy J1's in the back cooking them when there are 3 other similar joints in the same town.

Just had an owner call and berate us and resort to personal insults over a cancelled reservation that was actually made for the previous day, that the guests actually showed up for. These fuckers up here dont have any shed of decency and never apologize when they fuck up/blame others which is a huge pet peeve, so it will be fun calling this homeboy back tonight and giving him the same shit right back to you. I understand people fuck up and you need to light the fire under asses sometimes, but you dont need to completely tear down people, especially kids that are just learning over money that you will more than certainly make up the rest of the year. I think this retard forgot we have literally the biggest movie festival on earth in our town on top of other breaks/holiday weekends.

Hope this fucker drops a hot plate on his crotch tonight, piece of shit.

Well, back at work for the first time in almost 3 weeks.

Pretty stoked that there were a billion warm days in that time and that now it's 10 degrees outside and I have a bunch of outdoor work. Not outdoor work like digging in rails, things like welding grinding, painting, putting on topsheets.

10 degrees, is definitely the ideal temp to do all of that. Obviously can't actually paint today because I don't even think it would be possible, but it means if it's mid 20's this week I'll probably give it a go and hope it's not too horrible.

Also now have a ton of things to do and insanely far beyond schedule.

I'm finishing everything in the spring and early fall for next year. Ugh

Seriously they are fucking crazy. Most of the people who live here are students and we don't go back until the 25th. I just got an email saying they're "inspecting" the condition of our units. And they asked for everything to be cleaned and shit. LIKE NO ONE IS FUCKING THERE RIGHT NOW. hahahahaha what the hell do they expect? People to come back to clean it? My roommates left that place a damn mess and now because I'm the closest person, I'm expected to go and clean it up... lol sucks for my roommates but I'm not cleaning their shit up.

Seriously what the fuck is up with that? Do landlords actually do that because this is just fucking stupid.

The guy that hit my car says he can't afford the whole estimate. He is asking about making payments which I don't thinks is an option. Seems like a nice guy so I don't want him to get screwed over but I also think I should get my car fixed. Social conventions and laws are pretty clear cut in these cases. But.. the dude could have just left fake info and got of free.

The guy at my shop thinks I should file an uninsured motorist claim with my insurance and then I can get my car fixed for $200. He thinks they will take the $82 I paid for my alignment job off the estimate.

If this happens State Farm will collect on the guy and probably file a police report. I'd feel pretty bad for the guy if he got hammered with a ticket and collection fees. I also have people telling me I let myself get pushed around too much so I'm conflicted.

Yeahh, I mean anyone can live here, it's not designated for students. It's a few miles from campus and really cheap though, so a lot of us are college kids. There are a decent amount of families who live here though too. It's just weird. I would understand if they were checking the A/C, water heaters, laundry stuff, furnace, etc. But to say your apartment has to be clean is fucking lols. Oh well though, it's just another dumb thing.

Is it common for people to be so out of shape that they are out of breath after 2 flights of stairs? Happens every day at my office. We are on the second story but they have a restaurant with really high ceilings on the first floor so it is more than just a one story climb up. We are still less than 2 stories up. We are almost at sea level too. Every day we have people come up to our counter that literally can't talk because they are out of breath from the stairs. Makes me feel sad because I know these people must be uncomfortable almost all the time.

not sure what the reasons were but the crowds that were recently out here for the holidays were easily the worst I have ever heard of. fortunate to not deal with any of the bullshit upfront and it got hectic at work no doubt (fuck new years eve royally), but some of the first-hand accounts from on the mountain make your fuckin blood boil.

my sister is also a freeride development coach. one of her little girls was politely holding the door open for people as the entered/exited a lodge. for some reason, this loaded as fuck dad (yes, he was with his family sadly) starts essentially harassing her saying shit like "you little privelaged brat, stop holding the door open you dumb kid", just getting abnormally mad over this whole thing. My sister calmly walks over to diffuse the situation, and the dude is literally about to start swinging, like she honestly got freaked out and just left with her group. where the fuck do people get off acting like that? its a little kid man, calm your ass down you fucking prick. im sure your wife and kids are real proud of dad tearing into a girl that cant even fucking drive a car yet.

this one makes me really angry. I guess some jerry girl skied over some guys skis accidentally. she apologized but it didn't end there. THe dude literally stalks here all over the canyons, confronts her at the bottom, and borderline assaults the lady (shoves her down, she breaks her shoulder and knocks her head real good I guess), dude takes off, no one does anything. Honestly fuck people, you're really gonna sit there and let some dude hurt a woman like that? What the fuck is wrong with people nowadays, I don't give a fuck, id break that bastards kneecap with my langes if he ever laid a hand on someone I was with like that. people are fucked up.

I had a buddy (looks like a gaper...but can actually ride pretty good) accidentally tap a guys skis at Alpine meadows once....not bad at all. Just the normal lift line tap. The guy turns to him and told him to fuck off and that he was an ass hole....my friend just gave him the cold shoulder and caught up with me in the lift line. Guy comes up behind him and starts saying how he is a fucker and he owes him an apology for damaging his skis. I turned around and laughed at him....told him he was being a jackass. He backed off real quick. People are pussies lol. It got the lifties laughing pretty hard at him.

People just love to pick on gapers is the moral of that story I geuss? Hahaha
 
I would really like to let my foreman and Shop manager know how they can lick my nuts in graphic detail. After that leave my job of sweatshop freight. Oh well, 4 more months and usable experience for my resume and it'll be like I was never even there.

Dont understand why people get so angry skiing. Its odd and not worth fighting people for unless they are trying to hurt you. Not a fan of this tourist and local crowd in park city now at all, glad i have passes else where.

Also things kind of suck. Can't build shit. I have no radio so didn't even know the mountain closed early. I did finish up work on a couple boxes we had, and started building 2 new flat tubezzz in the downpour and I ate a dank sandwich so it's not all bad.

Also I'm getting really sick of people bailing last minute. I don't mind skiing by myself but of the 12 days I've skied, 10 of them were alone and it's jut not the same. I don't know. Park laps alone are weird. At least when a lot of the hill is open you can legit ski and that's not bad but we only have like 3 runs open. It's just really shitty.
