renting a micro fridge?

Does your school require that you rent your fridge from them or something? If so it is kinda a scam. I'd scope things out on campus before renting the fridge for a semester or year or whatever. Maybe there are communal fridges and if you are in a dorm like that you are probably on a meal plan and you should utilize what you pay for

If you have options to bring your own fridge you should just get one and if your roomie does too then you'll have 2 fridges. Why not you are getting power included anyways

I am also confused on the renting of a micro fridge lol.

Just buy a mini fridge off facebook and a 40 dollar microwave from walmart and call it a day.

Agree with this. Tons of upperclassmen will be getting their stuff out of storage and realizing they don't need their fridges anymore.

hws doesn’t allow u to bring a normal sized mini fridge or a microwave it has to be a tiny ass fuckin fridge and no microwave. ngl might just bring a tiny ass fridge. There’s a microwave in our common room we share with four other doubles on our floor. Plus the unlimited meal bs is mandatory so it’ll force me to use that.

So my ex gf decided to drive by my house today, I happened to be in my car when she did it, that was hard to see. I always hoped we could still be friends after, but honestly seeing her made me feel just garbage and kinda ruined my whole day. It’s hard because I was the one who called it off and I’m sure it’s her way of coping and I hope it makes her feel better. I’m just trying to move on and seeing her made that so hard. I haven’t seen her in months and it was just tough today. But big shout out my boy Fred Again.. this guy makes banger music that touches the soul and really helps me through my life some days.

This was the same for me when I moved into college. You had to buy this specific fridge/microwave combo from some company the college worked with. Totally a scam but we did it my freshman year. After that just brought our own tiny micro-fridge which you could probably get away with. I'd recommend one of the tiny cube ones that you can easily put under a bed.

Basically you just need something to keep a 30 and a few bottles cold.

Freshman & Sophmore year I had to do this as well. Junior & Senior year we had our own normal sized fridge in the rooms.

But yea total scam.

So the real question is - how do we get into the college refrigerator business?

Time rolls on and it heals all wounds. I still wish I was friends with prior ex's but it is what it is. You learn to grow and mature eventually. Don't beat yourself up too much over it, man.

Being friends with ex’s is super tricker. Has so much to do with how it ended

You mean like saying I’m old and work for cruise lines over and over again. That’s pretty boring and tired. And it makes complete sense when I’m having absolutely no conversations with someone and yet they’re constantly tagging me into threads about stuff that’s irrelevant to me. That means I’m living in their head in case you weren’t sure. If I wasn’t they wouldn’t be wasting their time tagging me.

You forgot you're also retarded, fat, you dress like shit, your gf is fat and retarded, you're an alcoholic, you've squandered your life away, you're homophobic, and that I could easily steal your Mickey Mouse watch.

just found out my parents r paying a flat rate of tuition. not by class and my advisor is trying to get me to take the absolute bare minimum to be enrolled. legit never been more scammed than that. 17k a semester plus fees and books, and you want me to take 11 total credits? wtf!! i’m not even paying and i feel ripped off. No wonder I have no classes tuesday/thursday. Cause I’m barely enrolled in the school thanks to this fuck

11 credits is criminal especially as a freshman when your just taking gen Ed’s. It would take you close to 6 years to grad if you kept that pace lmao

One of the great things about growing up is you learn to not care what people who are insignificant to your life think about you. Especially kids like yourself. Not a knock. Just stating facts.

Why is it that every time I hop back on this site you're either arguing or flexing on teenagers? Give it a rest

like how tf does this lady have a job? I feel like I should be taking atleast 12-18 probably more like 15? Three credits are a Fsem for god sake. Also highkey pissed my college pre calc and intro calc transferred and exempted me from Pre Calc there but I scored 1 pt to low on the Calc entry exam to take it. So now I have to wait for second semester Pre Calc because even tho the registrars office thinks I’m ready for Calc. The 19/30 and not 20/30 is telling the math department otherwise? like sorry I was told to take a proctored test with no warning, studying or anything but pen and paper. No Calculator or anything. But some fuckwr in the math department says they won’t make an exception even tho my athletic advisor, and dean are trying to get me into calc so I can get another 4 credits and fill the massive gap in my schedule.

legit insane to me my parents can be paying this much for school. Just to be waitlisted, unable to enroll, or have classes full needed for a major or minor Pre Requisite. So they have me taking fluff classes, partially because My Biology, Microbio, Chem, Comp Sci credits all had labs and transferred along with english and Environmental sciences. So there’s a lot of Gen Ed’s I have the credits for, so no point in taking again is what i’m told. But if I can’t get into Stats, Calc, Genetics, or Econ Principles like what am I there for? Some fun expensive electives? I wanted to take some intro/elective classes to consider other careers like genetics, health, architecture etc but if I can’t get into those because you offer zero courses and have waitlists long enough to create a second class it’s pretty pointless. Imo if a waitlist is 15 kids for a class capped at 25, there should be a second class offered due to the demand and how much people pay for school.

Lenny(if he has a working brain) or Ballclapper(I doubt he doesn't have functioning brain)has over 6000 thoughts in his head durig the day. How many of those thoughts do you think is about you?

And why do they keep tagging you? Because you keep answering to their trolls. Trolling is bit boring if you can't get the intended attention so with anwering you also keep fueling them.

Valid. Especially on the first point.

I would highly recommend you look at your degrees flow chart (most colleges have one by just searching the college - your degree - academic flowchart) and pick classes from that directly. Advisors have way too many kids and usually won’t help in any meaningful way. Pick classes that you know you need to grad and you’ll be set

15 credits is a good target for your first semester. Space should open up in the first 2 weeks of class too as people decide what they want to drop. Even when a class is "full", you can usually just show up to the first week of a class and get the professor to approve you as a late addition.

No need to freak out yet, you have time to work this out. I didn't get my first semester schedule settled until the second week of classes

We had an advisor in the earth science department that was literally single handedly responsible for several people I knew not graduating on time.

She was mine aswell but I heard the stories about her ahead of time and just started going to one of my professors after the first semester.

15 credits or nothing, your freshman year will be the easiest academically speaking.

no, I had a meeting with an advisor. not a dean who basically told me what I was taking, as I was recruited late july then offered a merit and athletic scholarship to attend this fall and row. The school took 21 transfer credits that got me outta a lot of science gen ed’s and english ones, as well as 200/100 level electives. Leaving the first year courses I could take to an abysmal number, that got even lower due to the fact I was registering for courses so late. But my dean retires monday, I’m hoping I can speak to my AD and FSem Advisor not the admissions advisor who set up my schedule with the old dean(one that retires monday). At this rate I will not graduate on time, nor have any credits towards anything I am remotely interested in.

Drivers ed may be the most boring thing I’ve had to do this year. They had an acronym called OPDE, which stands for observe, predict, decide, execute. this is literally how any living creature makes a decision. like this is nothing new, why the fuck do I need to do this for 30 hours

I don't know about that man. Everyday it seems like some people forget to observe and predict, They just decide and execute.

Observing part is there because our brain can ignore things even though things would be in our vision. You need to observe so you can be aware of the things you need to be aware of.

I feel like the period of mid to late 20s upbuntik you turn 30 doesn't get talked about how awkward it is enough.

I found 22-24 to be much more awkward. The first few years out of college were a weird adjusting period, especially with regards to dating. Suddenly it was a lot harder to meet people and the 22-24 year old girls right out of college mostly wanted to date 28-30 year old guys. 25-28 has made a lot more sense for me so far

This was 100% the case for me too. Went from a readily available dating pool in college, to limited interest as a recent grad.

My dating heyday was probably 26-29.

idk if it’s a gen z thing but dating or trying to hook up hasn’t been a priority or interest for me since i got outta college. got a few girls that are good friends which is nice but im never really putting myself in a situation to meet new ones and im not on the apps. doesn’t really concern me anymore/right now. just happy doin my thing
