It's funny that this boat is claimed to be very green because it runs mostly on LNG.

I wouldn't travel on them either if it wasn't the only way to get our car across the pond.

With older ships this is very true. With many of the newest ships. Not even close. Most of the newest ships have reduced carbon emissions by almost 25%. More lines now use LNG in their ships which is dropping emissions even more. Most have or have been retrofitted with solar panels to reduce the time the diesel electric engines have to run. Over the next 5 years you’re going to see a heavy shift in emission reduction with new ships. Within 10 years you’ll see ships sailing that carbon neutral. Many of the older ships do need to be retired though or retrofitted. Unfortunately many of the smaller lines can’t afford to do this currently.

I’ve been in the industry for going on 20 years now but shore side. Never worked on ships or in ports. I’ve always lived within driving distance of both ports in south Florida so cruising is extremely easy. And yes absolutely loved all 40+ cruises. Again I understand you haven’t had access to them but the mega ships are absolutely a blast. I’ve sailed all over the world. Taken ships from country to country and moved ships from one part of the globe to others. Not sure what you’re actually basing your opinion on but my guess is you’ve never been on any large ship. Forget the mega ones but even the large ones.

I don't know what counts as large, but biggest ones in baltic sea.

Honestly Marine engineer or maybe captain would be my career choice, but education for marine engineer is quite limited even though lot of those mega ships are built here. And the sea captain school thing is at a shithole city away from everything else I like.

After aviation sea has the second most interesting careers.

Anything over 100k is getting big. The mega are all 150k plus. Most of these ships are usually sailing in warmer tropical weather environments but a few do Alaska, Europe, Asia etc. due to the size they cannot fit in all the ports around the world. So locations are limited. Most have or do sail from south Florida.

I really hard for me to go to study outside of my home country because of my gpa. Only thing I need here is better than avarage final exam scores from 5 subjects of my choosing.
 
Go into aerospace. Saab makes cool planes and since you're a Euro you could also go work for Airbus/Siemens/Safran pretty much anywhere

Right now I'm thinking meteorology or medical physics. Also have a side quest to become air force pilot but that might end into the deep medical check.

Car shopping sucks so bad, all overpriced shit.

Tried shopping around on a slightly used Subaru, dealer wouldn’t budge off 20k for a 2017 which really should be 15k max. And then were selling a 2021 with 10k miles 2k over MSRP

also turned around and offered me 500 for my truck on trade in. I’ve sold cars without engines for more
 
I literally do not want to waste my entire day at six flags tomorrow with my annoying family. i'm literally sick of them. my dad sucks air through his mouth like a vacuum cleaner with his lips puckered out and it's the worst shit ever that's how he NORMALLY BREATHES.

im the problem. but it still doesn't make me less annoyed. I never hang out with friends so it makes me feel like a loser being stuck with my family I don't even enjoy hanging around.

Do you have a military university in Sweden? In the US, the best way to become a pilot is to go to the air force or navy academy. Joining the military after uni makes it much harder to become a pilot.

Also, after your country spends millions of dollars training you to be a pilot, they'll make you stay in the military for quite a while. It's more than just a short side quest lol

It's a side quest lol. I have mandatory military service. Before going you can apply for a pilot progam. Applying process has 6 phases and I should get "easily" to atleast phase 4. If you happen to get in to the pilot program your mandatory service will take 1 year. In the program you will have lots of theory and you will learn to fly a small Grob and get flight permit for them. I would rather do that than shoot blanks and do camping in a cold forest. After your mandatory year you can apply to the real air force school or you can tell the air force to fuck off and become a ski bum. It's your choice if you want to stay or not and the air force respects your choice whatevet it is.

Woah, that's pretty cool that they give you that option. In most countries, any fixed-wing plane can only be flown by officers who go through years of training then commit to several more years of service.

It's the only way to become a pilot for the airforce here. It's also the best way to start your aviation career.

It's probably only way not to feel like you are wasting 1 year of your youth to the army.

actually had a horrible experience today. amusement parks really need to do a better job when emergencies happen, they don't do anything to help tbh.
 
Wanted to get most of my shit moved out today but couldn't sleep. Brain is useless now might have to wait till tomorrow. About to attempt nap again. Just need brain to mildly work so I can get some shit done.

Only one I have truly enjoyed was legoland. Their lego cities were cool.

When I was a small child I visited legoland with my family and I met one of the Lego builders as part of an event. I thought that was the coolest job ever, and I wanted to become one but to this day I have no clue how to get hired as one.

I just realized something, In my friend group people are always glorifying "stealing" another persons partner. No matter how good of a person or good looking you are that should be a red flag. If you can yoink someone like that don't be surprised if they cheat or get yoinked from you. Future said it best, "she for de streets."
 
I bought a french dip at the brewery while playing some music. Only ate half it and didn't feel great. Left and went home. Brought french dip but its a long walk. Held it pretty steady but yeah. Didn't have a top forthe au jus. It wasnt that full though like 1/3. I thought about ditching it but i wanted it.

Anyway went to eat it nowand the bread soaks up a fuck ton and was soggy as shit lol.

Idk it was my ownbad but I was kinda sad about it :(
