PSA: saga has arrived.

i havn't been on here in a few days so i don't know if it's been posted, but saga pre-orders have arrived. i got mine on wednesday and it's the sickest outerwear i've ever put on. as opposed to the usual bashing saga recieves, i'm vouching for them now that they got their shit together. long live saga, hopefully they won't run into problems like this in the future.

nope, any length comes in any color.they make half of their production run one color and half the opposite. they do this so they use even amounts of dye so they don't have a bunch of different colors sitting around.

I'm really glad people are getting their orders. I for one had such low expectations for SAGA and kinda still do. I would really like to see the construction of the material up close. Anyway, the stuff looks really sick though. I agree the blue looks a lot better than the Ozone stuff... If the price goes down, I'd be willing to support SAGA next year (contigent upon a good track record on durability this season).

i have changed my mind about saga, they really are starting to turn their act around and are coming through for the customer finally... props.

cant wait for mine to get year. those same pants. they are stuck in utah until christmas is over though. its ok. i can wait. it will be worth it.

Here are a shot of my crew in suits that are completely delightful.

yo it sucks so hard that your skis are so stiff.

im happy with my LD but if i hadnt gotten the blue pants i was thinking about SAGA but its sooooo much more

ugh...why can't companies come out with decent waterproofing....

12k is fine for some places, but it makes the gear more or less pointless when skiing in some of the costal areas.

The clothing looks fucking sick, but I would never buy it unless it was at least 20k....

small clothing companies already have pretty damn big overhead (you should know about that lol), I bet if they went for 20k the suits would be $700 instead of $550, which is already up there.

glad CO doesn't get to wet and I can get away with 8-12k

I understand that costs are high. you are right that I should know about that.

I am not trying to just put this just on Saga, because siver cartel and a few other companies were the exact same way.

I just know that I could never ski with this gear in WA and that sucks, because it looks awesome and has lots of features.

For me, for less than $330 I can get a sick jacket with gore-tex and the same features. it maybe from a bigger company, but functionality is my #1 consideration when buying outerwear, and to me, 12k just isn't practical.

In CO, yeah, you can get away with it.

Basically it would be sweet if Saga can make some money and start expanding their product line to have some stuff that is 20-30k, because it would make the outerwear they sell functional for areas such as the PNW and BC where skiing is a much wetter experience than in the center of the continent.

I guess I just wonder why you would come out with some great new clothing if it was only able to be used in 1/2 the country.

If these jackets were 20k, I would easily pay $300+ for them. Most comparable jackets at 12K are well under $200.....

This may sound fucking brutal, and it is. Clothing is a really hard market to break into. There is no doubt about that. I hope they continue to grow and can expand their outerwear.

At this point, though, gear with such low waterproofing is pointless to a lot of people.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more pictures of people wearing their SAGA stuff... I really want to see different angles of the outerwear... post 'em up people!
