no stove?? that's a tough one... I only use the microwave for reheating..how about grilled cheese...or steamed buns/dumplings, you buy them at the chinese grocery store then reheat on a plate with a cup of hot water in the microwave. or a good old burger. or broccoli with cheese sauce. not sure how you would make (good) cheese sauce in a microwave though.or make anything and then put bacon on it?sorry panda =(

Well you tried thanks.

I am thinking throwing some bacon/flank steak on the Foreman grill and make up some hot dogs and chili in the microwave and then figure out some way to throw them all together.

Fuck, that sounds like heart attack on a bun.

haha, I'm sure that could work... my way of making something yummy is to top it with cheese and bread crumbs, in that order, and put it in the oven. the only way it can fail is if you don't have an oven. in that case I'm dead out of ideas haha. good luck!

i actually didnt believe that was real so i did a little research and that picture is actually from a tsunami that hit indonesia in 2004 not thailand in 2006 just fyi
apparently those people in the picture are swedish tourists and they all survived

This pic is in my oceanography text book.

The subtext under it reads: Figure 9.25 The first wave of the December

2006 Tsunami arrives at Hat Rai Lay Beach in southern Thailand...more than 8000 people died in Thailand alone.

College text book > Random internet site

this is how i can tell you probably never have and never will go though college.

"TEXT BOOKS" really don't have much to do with the college since thousands of other colleges use the same fucking text book in oceanography.

stumbled upon this today, thought it was worthy of a bump

The night before the burial of her husband's body, Katherine Cathey refused to leave the casket, asking to sleep next to his body for the last time. The Marines made a bed for her, tucking in the sheets below the flag. Before she fell asleep, she opened her laptop computer and played songs that reminded her of 'Cat,' and one of the Marines asked if she wanted them to continue standing watch as she slept. "I think it would be kind of nice if you kept doing it," she said. "I think that's what he would have wanted."

thats intense

I was in Washington this past weekend. and visiting Arlington and the tomb of the unknown soldier easily one of the more sobering moments in my life.

part of me wanted to take a pic, and the other part said that it seemed disrespectful.

This quote is from the first man in space, in 1961. He was s soviet cosmonaut. When he landed a farmer and his daughter saw him, and started backing away in fear. Pretty fucking B.A.

this picture was taken on my birthday /claim

sick thread though these are awesome I could spend days looking up this stuff

Here are some pics I had never seen before. Too lazy to find powerful pics of the tsunami, but some one should post some.

with i knew how to scan pictures

most powerful picture i have ever scene came from a girl at my school. It was a close up of two hands grabbing on to eachother. The black guys hand was pulling up this white guy. It's in black and white. Super powerful. Sorry i can't post it

This thread, is so amazing. My favorite on NS by far.

And to the people posting stupid shit. Stop.

that has to be fake. For one thing, there are cars driving around like nothing, when in reality they had a bit of warning, so people for the most part weren't just casually taking a drive near the beach.

And also, look at that wave compared with the buildings. Thats a 200ft vertical wave.

good point, but there were still cars driving when the wave hit. I wanted to find the aerial one where the wave looked like one solid white line across the ocean but couldn't find it. I saw that one in a video.
