And why don't you take that big mt. skier and put him on a long jump course. I bet he couldn't do it.
Point being, pow is overrated in the fact that everyone obsesses over it like its the only worth while thing in skiing. Don't get me wrong, I love skiing pow and it is definitely a whole different experience. Getting ready to drop into a deep chute, no one around, just you and the mountain. But pow skiing is just one aspect of skiing. I'm personally stoked on skiing as a whole, lapping the park with friends, ridding pow, hiking out into the backside, hiking a rail, and goofing off on fun  features.
So yes, pow skiing is overrated in that everyone thinks its the only worth while aspect of skiing, when really there are so may factors that create a good skiing experience.
