how is the shape and flex compared to hellbents

The shape is similar but alottas are a bit wider, have traditional camber, and are noticeably stiffer. Neither are stiff skis but the hellbents are comically soft and very rockered.

Haven't skied the alotta's yet but I expect them to feel quite different than the hellbents. My brother and I have same weight, bsl, and boots so we swap skis regularily and I will hopefully get a chance to ski them next season.

Bike season is coming and it's about time I had a full face that fits my head.

Also snagged registration for the NAEC at Silver and the MES at Jackson. Stoked to race poorly.

I haven't! But I love riding Silver and the event looks rad, so I'm stoked. Mostly just registered as an excuse to ride the race-only trails haha.

I'll probably do the MES Helenduro, and wanted to do Jackson too but it is the same weekend that I'm planning on going camping with my gf for her birthday, while she loves the Tetons I dunno how stoked she would be on me forcing the choice of locale around a bike race.

Yeah, I was gonna do Helenduro, but the timing is sorta weird for me. I was really hoping it was going to be before the NAEC, but since it's a couple weeks after I'm really not that motivated to go to Helena in late June.

And trying to sandwich a birthday and the Rendezvous race seems really challenging. Camping will be a shitshow already, and then with no onsite camping for racers I think it's gonna be a PITA even without trying to juggle her experience haha.

Damn, that's some real bullshit that there is no onsite camping for racers, that weekend is insane anywhere near the Tetons even without a bike race.

Thanks for the MEC reminder, just pulled the trigger on Helenduro, I'm racing in the sport class since I have never raced before and I'm definitely not a super crazy fast rider either. Wish I would have planned out my schedule better, but I'll be seeing Built to Spill in Bozeman the night prior to Enduro Pescado and there is no way I'm getting up early enough for a 5.5 hour drive to Whitefish

How much do tickets for such an event cost? I'd play minor league hockey prices to go see monster trucks lol.

it was $65-120 for the lower section (idk how 'low' my section is exactly) plus another like 26 bucks for fees per ticket. Not quite minor league hockey prices unfortunately but I also didn't check the nosebleeds either.

SATURDAY SATURDAY SATURDAY

always wanted to see monster jam as a kid. Just copped some tix, lowkey way too stoked

Sold you the whole seat but you will only need the edge!!lol

Been to few of these jams, circuit comes through my home town. Got to meet some of the drivers, even work and drive some of their trucks. The guys I met were just privateers and did most of their work themselves(no major sponsors). These guys were just amplified rednecks and some of the work on the suspensions and such was just mental. The welds were shit and they were out there jumping over things close to spectators, made me rethink sitting to close to the action, lol. The show is usually super fun and they should have a local tough truck competition which is always great to watch. Enjoy and yeah, have some ear plugs ready.

I bought a house today. I feel so damn grownup it makes me feel sick, then I figure the monthly mortage was the part makeing me sick. Stoked on house. neighbours probably thrilled to get someone who owns park skis and wears a hoodie on the regular as a neighbour :D

it comes with a ski storage room, ski wax room, and you can cross country literally from your front door as its the last on the chain. small hill as well so you can build some small features on the public land next to it. maybe a pipe. woop.

That sounds like my dream.

My new cop (not directed at you, Anders, just combining posts):

Fauna Pioneer 184. I liked the Omni so much that I went back for seconds. On that note… anyone looking to buy some Deviation Works Mode 112?? Haha

Story time:

So I've been looking around for a narrower ski on and off for awhile, not in a rush but keeping an eye out. Never found that sweetheart deal so I never bought and qas fine with that. Today I went into Boise Gear Collective cause they're sadly going out of business and I still need climbing shoes. Low and behold they have used demo Mwnt Commander 98s on a decent deal. I wander the shop but I know I probably won't find a better deal so I suck it up and decide to buy them. While I'm in line to check out the lady in front of me finds out she has $200ish in store credit and wants to pass it off to me. I guess the gear she had on consignment there was her recently passed husbands and instead of collecting cash on it since the store was closing wanted to pass it onto me. In the end I got no climbing shoes but I got a nearly new setup for a fraction of retail price and got to meet an awesome person and hear a bit of her story. The outdoor community is awesome. And yes, I'll find a way to pass it on.

That is SO legit man. Also heard the commanders rip. Enjoy it!

I don't even have a car with Bluetooth, unless I put an aftermarket one in them. Ha ha! Maybe some day.

Anyway, I put a little 64GB card in my new phone, and that's what started this thing.

Now I have over 2500 tracks on it, and only about less than 1/3rd full.

Now I see why kids don't even mess with CD's anymore.

I love my android phone. It can support a 512GB card, and placing files on it is so easy from my PC.

My Lovely has a iPhone, and that shit is a PITA with all Apples scams. They just want folks to buy their crap.

I download for free, and upload to my Android, and I like that!
