I don't even have a car with Bluetooth, unless I put an aftermarket one in them. Ha ha! Maybe some day.

Anyway, I put a little 64GB card in my new phone, and that's what started this thing.

Now I have over 2500 tracks on it, and only about less than 1/3rd full.

Now I see why kids don't even mess with CD's anymore.

I love my android phone. It can support a 512GB card, and placing files on it is so easy from my PC.

My Lovely has a iPhone, and that shit is a PITA with all Apples scams. They just want folks to buy their crap.

I download for free, and upload to my Android, and I like it

My friend in HS had a shitty old civic with the worst speaker system. Instead of paying a shitload for new ones, he bought a Bluetooth Job Rocker Max and always kept it in his backseat, worked better than a lot of head units, plus he could take it out of his car for parties and other stuff!

Know of more than a handful of people who just throw a JBL speaker on the dash.

Yes, I got this, and the back seat of the old Accord, or the others, is awesome. Just need to put in the trunk when one parks!

Thing kicks! I can use the safety belts to keep it safe! I throw my old Honda around hard!

So I've been looking around for a narrower ski on and off for awhile, not in a rush but keeping an eye out. Never found that sweetheart deal so I never bought and qas fine with that. Today I went into Boise Gear Collective cause they're sadly going out of business and I still need climbing shoes. Low and behold they have used demo Mwnt Commander 98s on a decent deal. I wander the shop but I know I probably won't find a better deal so I suck it up and decide to buy them. While I'm in line to check out the lady in front of me finds out she has $200ish in store credit and wants to pass it off to me. I guess the gear she had on consignment there was her recently passed husbands and instead of collecting cash on it since the store was closing wanted to pass it onto me. In the end I got no climbing shoes but I got a nearly new setup for a fraction of retail price and got to meet an awesome person and hear a bit of her story. The outdoor community is awesome. And yes, I'll find a way to pass it on.

That is such a fucking score! I've been looking for some skinny sticks and it seems like the only ones available at the local outdoor consignment store are either from the early 2000's or 170cm or both.

Just got a big order of bike parts

-A new wheelset, Hope Pro4 Hubs (197r and 110f), laced to Ibis S35 alloy 29er rims

-Surly Dirt Wizard 29x3 (they measure at 2.6" on a 35mm rim lol)

-Cushcore Plus 29 (holy shit this one was a bear to get on and I think I fucked up my rim tape and need to re-do it)

-TRP Slate T4 and some adapters and rotors

-Used GX 11 speed shifter, derailleur, cassette

-Wolftooth 2 degree headset

-RS 130mm air spring

-26"x2.4 Ardent and 27.5"x2.4 Rekon for my partners MTB build

-DT Swiss 26" wheel

-Advent X drivetrain

-Advent X brifters for a drop bar build

And last but certainly not least, a Problem Solvers 6 bolt fixed cog for a quick and dirty simple fixed gear build on a prototype Sklar frame from 2013. It's very, very rusty, the seatstays are (maybe unintentionally) asymmetrical, and has an upside down (relative to a "normal" Sklar) toptube, doesn't have any brake mounts on the frame, seattube needs to be reamed, but overall it's a super interesting frame. I'm not sure how long I'll ride it fixed, or if I'll just pass it along to another co-op staff member, or use it as a practice frame to weld on disc tabs and braze ons, or just donate it for sale at the co-op. But it's got a ton of character, I think I'm gonna keep the rust and just do a light polish with WD-40, and put a comic sans Sklar decal upside down on the toptube.

2018 170cm Kendo 88’s for $20. Wanted a thinner front side charger with Titanal to play with and saw this. We’ll see if I like it. I’m thinking early season ski. Great condition but could be the Titanal and weight of the ski irritates my knee. I could always flip it for more so win win.

And tickets to their show at The Elm in Bozeman fuck yea

been meaning to buy a new tent for years. My current one wasn't freestanding and it sucked trying to get that thing up in rocky or sandy terrain, which is like 95% of my camping lol.

New Tiger Wall Mtnglo 2 person. This sonbitch has lights and still cut a pound off my old tent.

Car insurance. Geico's online system was surprisingly easy to use.

It's annoying to call insurance companies, but they're usually pretty generous with discounts. Might be worth calling your new Geico agent and seeing if there are any discounts you qualify for. Bundling plans like car and renters insurance is another easy way to save a few bucks each month.

I rent from my employer so their insurance on the house should cover anything renters would help me with. My car holds no resale value so I just got the state minimum policy so it's pretty cheap as it is. In the future I'll see what I can do about bundling and shopping around but right now it's going to be pretty much the same price from everyone.

Also have this tent, its so light and packs down crazy small if you carry the poles separately. Only downside I've seen is performance in high wind where you really need 8+ stakes

Can I ask what you do? Or is it just working at a shop?

Sure.. Product Manager at an accessories brand. Why do you ask?

Cause I have no idea what I wanna do with my life and or college in two years and just tryna find other options

College will sorta take care of itself at first, no matter what decide you have that first year taking intro stuff to look around at other majors...... you might stay with your first choice (bio, oceans, etc, filming underwater) or end up as a marketing agent for that ski brand you love.... sure you wanna look hard now at options, but rarely is first choice, the final choice

You’ll figure it out in time don’t worry. Don’t feel pressured into college. Debt is no joke. Counselors say shit like “you need a backup plan and college is the answer”. College isn’t a backup plan. If you find a path in college you are down with go for it though.

Just don’t be like my freshman year roommate who took out loans and then dropped out after the first semester.

My counselor gave me a SUNY EFS and Go Army brochure. Needless to say she can get fucked. I told her im going to apply too UVM, OSU Cascades, UW Madison possibly, Montana State and what ever else I kinda feel like. She told me that I should think about colleges closer to home even tho my grades are consistently mid too low 90s except math. I’ve got another year and a half before I start applying tho so I’ll see

Better to drop out first semester though. I know people who drowned for 3-4 years before dropping out. Poor kids fucked over their finances and early 20s with nothing to show for it.

I tell you what I wish I had done....CC. move to a place where you want to go to college and do CC for some time. You'll get a good feel for what you wanna do in college, and whatever colleges are around without sinking 15k a year. Then after two years transfer to the program you wanna do.
