quasi is sick stuff

Yeah I loved em as mother but I haven’t been on one of their boards in years. They always been sick tho, I’m a fan of Midwest companies too so they’re on the top of my lists.

Love my real board. It’s their recycled series. So much more pop than than Santa Cruz I road last, just cracked tho :( lasted a while too so I think imma get another. Good bit of concave but not to much to where it feels like ass.

Just gonna skate it till it snaps tho

I feel it, I just really like the boxy shape of an FA and I’ve heard real has some version of the double nose shape so I’d consider trying one. Probably will never touch a Santa Cruiz board as long as I live lol.

Way to go!!! We’ve re done our blueprint 3x since 2018, we keep saying this is the final one ?

did u move to a new area or what?

Just moving about 30 minutes away from my current apartment (to westminster) - the only reason I can afford a house right now is because I’m going to be “house hacking”. Turning the basement 3 bedroom/1 bath into an Airbnb which will be closed off from the rest of the house with it’s own entrance, then renting 1/2 of the bedrooms upstairs to a friend. In theory, will be living for free ?

Good way to do it , keep em turning f ton of money in it if you continue, especially around the college

A 40mm stem for my old bike that is a size L but but would be a sm/m in today's standards. Has a 70mm on it currently and riding it turns like a dumptruck compared to my newer bike. It's gonna feel like a bmx bike now I hope lol

Is it considerably less expensive without downgrading to build a bike vs buying at a bike shop?

For BMX, you can get a very solid complete bike that will be plenty sturdy for most riders for like $500-600. If you ride hard or ride a lot it’s probably better to just spend the extra money on a custom build which costs about $1200-1400 (if you don’t do custom wheels).

Unless you plan on riding bmx all the time, I would just go to a bike shop/online store and get a solid complete bike. Make sure it has sealed bearings and full chromoly frame.

I don’t ride much, maybe 2hr a week between bmx and mtb, I’m still riding on a early 2000s gt fueler, kinda heavy but has been thru it all, started as my street bike, then vert and mountain before I got a cheap mtb

skateboard art is so sick it can’t be matched

So true, I don’t know a single one of my skate friends that doesn’t have at least 1 wall board. This ones more for the sentimental value than the art, but it’s still a sick graphic.

Haven’t seen your name pop up on NS lately glad to see your doing alright. We missed you

Been busy, and now no skiing so...............Anyway, the '89 Accord came out awesome! It's lower now, with more camber up front. I'm going to shred some Autocross with it 31'st and 1st. I'll make video. Thing is turning better than ever! I should know as I have owned it since Oct. 1988! The new KSport coilovers are way better than the old kit I had. Second time with blown shocks. Makes the car spin out!

Do you ever do any autocross events in Montana or surrounding area? I'd love to come watch/maybe ride and definitely chat with ya!

No. I just keep it local here in Oregon with a few clubs. Some of the folks do go all over for the Pro series of Autocross.

It's all SCCA, but regional events are not so "serious" as the National Pro events.

That is so sick Jacques! Mad props man. I cannot stand the 'use it and get rid of it' mentality people have with cars. And here you are racing yours 30+ years later!!! I hope whenever I bite the bullet and buy a brand new whip I have it forever as well. You da man for real!

Ha ha! Just turned 335,000 miles. Original engine and transmission. Still runs! Have replaced many parts through the years to keep it going.

I'll take a few photos of the new stance it has now, and post them up later. It's "flush" and low!

That's awesome! Overall, how much of the car is still original? Do you think it'd be better to make a small sporty car for these kinds of events or a drift car? Maybe one day I can afford to go through tires like that ha!

It's all OG except for the shocks, springs, and sway bars. Other than that, have replaced fuel sensors as they failed. Replaced injectors, power steering pump, alternator, and several timing belts. You always replace water pump when doing timing belt. Also replaced one cooling fan, and all thermo switches, some twice. ENGINE is OG!

Okay, after installing the latest purchase of the KSport coilovers for the '89 Accord, here is how she sits! Note wheel size! It's low! With 2 degrees plus of negative camber up front. Will confirm cambers front and rear when I get an alignment in a few weeks.

Thanks man! I pride my ride. Car has character. It took me 32 years to get the look it has. Been never in a garage all those years. The suspension is in very good condition as I have taken care of that!

My low hydraulic jack won't fit under any more without driving it up on some wood or a ramp. Tire store had to use all floor jacks to lift it now.

Good thing the road jack fits easy! I don't want trouble if I get a flat! I carry a full size spare! Tape case is three inches.

After testing in autocross soon, I may lower a bit more! We will see.

That is a ram air intake. It's piped into the stock air box through existing holes in the body. If I had to make any holes in the body, it would be illegal for Street Touring class.

I agree, but I was able to get it for 200 off with free airpods (which I'm gonna sell), so it's not so bad
