I can't recommend this book enough to people, I describe it as Gladwell's 'blink' but with science instead of anecdotes.

Took five days of watching to catch this in stock:

It describes how people's brains work and why we're super irrational about certain things. If you are interested in behavioral economics or psychology or even statistics it is a must read. There isn't really one thesis, but lots of things I found useful in everyday life, including one concept that Kahneman won a nobel prize for.

Oh nice haha, its a squad. I put em on my Mazda. Way better than the stock tires even on pavement, expecting them to be great in the snow and on forest roads in the summer.

It’s pretty awful how I ignored arch support in shoes for so long. One week or two in and it’s a huge difference.

I have them in these shoes which I thought would be great trail running shoes but have turned out to be just great winter shoes overall.

Just copped a hoodie and beanie from the new Arsenic drop. Sadly nearly everything sold out in 20 minutes, but a big shout out to [tag=55432]@-Dan[/tag] for making some dope ass clothes.

Girlfriend won the Melanzana lottery and got to scoop one of these up pretty pumped. Heard nothing but good things about them.

Its getting ridiculous how popular these are. Bought one a few years ago from the store and love it but also know getting another one without over paying on resale probably won't happen.

Yeah they had to shut their stores down and they don’t sell online but they are having a lottery to get a chance to buy one online and my girlfriend got lucky and won.

now.. cans... taxsstamp, and non existant ammo :p

Ain't that the truth.

I'm doing ok on ammo right now. Got like 5-6k in 5.56 and like 3-4k in 9mm but I don't want to go shooting right now cause it's so hard to find ammo to replace it.

A can and taxstamp will be done this year though.

My "touring" setup is also Jeffreys with burly metal telemark bindings. Don't tour much so I don't really care that they are heavy.

All my friends have pin bindings and lightweight setups, but I'm the one laughing when we end up skiing chop and shitfuck.

Heavy and damp skis forever

i got the jeffrey’s with marker barrons and damn they’re fucking heavy

we are going low on 5.56 and 9 now, cans are not a gun item here, and ammo was on sale until recently

fujifilm_x100v_digital_camera_black_1580832284_1542674.jpg

X100 V. Never had a nice digital camera before and I'm kinda over film. And after reviewing a lot of my photos it's clear I can deal with a lack of zooming. All the ones I like are at a really similar focal length, and almost always between 24-35mm equivalent.

Why do really good cameras made today look like they are from the 80s like this thing?

Well you see, what you do is, first you go to the top of the mountain. Then you point them at the bottom of the mountain.
