Dig this! Good line work and I’ve always liked tradition.

thanks! I think it came out great. I didn’t have anything terribly specific in mind, I gave him a couple ideas and let him run with it. if you’re in salt lake, go see my buddy shiro at sweet needles!

Those are usually the best tats, let them just run with the idea and be creative. I will check him out when I’m there next, thank you.

IPSC/USPSA

handgun is my main thing, but also do rifle, shotgun, pcc, minirifle. I've attended worldshoot rifle in russia with jerry/lena Miculek etc

I have yet to compete in the US version of 3 gun (damn restrictions) but I'd be down for sure.

Also down for MS, PRS, f-class, PPC and precsision stuff in general.

if it goes boom... I'm down january is usually my shotshow month with fun in vegas and USA trips... not any more!

Dude that's awesome! I'd like to get into 3 gun sometime, but that'll have to wait till ammo is a thing again.

Copped a DJI mavic pro off my friend pretty much brand new for dirttt cheap. Can’t wait to get some sick shots with this, hopefully I’ll figure out a way to get this into the park and film some jump lines

Now you’ve put that in my head.

Some new touring sticks (line sick day 104s) and some bridgestone BLIZZAK winter tires. The name "Blizzak" reminds me of J-Roc from trailer park boys lmao....always makes me laugh

Just bit the bullet on some daymakers and skins. After making fun of in bounds pin people in the other thread, I decided I want in on the action.

A new windshield and sunroof repair.

$50 for the windshield (have comprehensive insurance)... $1150 for the sunroof as I just paid to fix it and sent the receipt to my insurance to see if I can get even 50% back.

Can’t leave the house so might as well buy things for spring missions. Already have one of these and love it so now I’ll have a full set.

I'm looking for an axe to replace my BD Raven and was eyeing other general use axes like the Petzl Summit. This one looks interesting, like a cross between an ultralight and a technical axe. I'm curious what you use it for?

I would say the gully can be used as a general axe (if you have no other option) but it’s more intended to be a lightweight mellow ice tool. Definitely more of an aggressive pick than a true mountaineering axe. I have two now and they would work for some lower angle ice like you can find on a lot of the mountaineering routes around the USA. I wouldn’t really want to take them on vertical water ice but others have. Cody Townsend uses them a lot on the 50 classic lines.

I also own the Petzl summit and I find it to be a general mountaineering ice axe. It’s a lot nicer than the bd raven imo. The pick is a little bit shorter than the pick on the raven but the metal seems a lot stronger. I also don’t love the rubber handle at the base of the summit but it hasn’t been a problem or anything like that.

I don’t know what your intended use is but I would also look into the Petzl ride. Lighter than the summit but has more of a general less aggressive mountaineering style pick with a lightweight body. I think this is more of cross between technical and general. Only things to consider are the spike design and the length. Some people don’t like the spike style on the ride because it doesn’t punch into firm snow as well as the triangular style. And 45cm is pretty short.

Would be using it for skiing and climbing in the cascades. I wished I had a more aggressive axe on Mt Hood and the Kautz glacier on Rainier, and times I wanted a lighter axe like on Glacier peak slog and summer snowfield crossings. Seems like the Ride or Gully could be a good addition to my quiver if I keep the Raven, and can replace that at some point if needed.

Duke Cannon Soap with the tactical scrubber.

That is the move. Love Duke Cannons products but one day Facebook recommended “The Duke Cannon Lodge” and it’s like their fan club. Super fucking culty. Like dudes seriously get fired up about soap and go on raids to other soaps Facebook pages.

19/20 Chronics. The 20/21 model was Only 20 euros more, but I just like the 19/20 graphics so much more. Really enjoying them and the understated graphic

a ticket to Snowbasin for tomorrow to hopefully ski with some friends.

Last time I skied there, it was like $80 to ski a few years ago and I got charged $169 for a full day, haha unreal. Worth it to spend time with friends though i guess.

Ha! Those facebook adds got me too. My Frontier 40 pack arrives Thursday.

Add blockers work pretty good, but I do turn it off for sites like this that I like. No ads, no revenue for NS!

You are being tracked!

I just joined that club on Facebook! I've seen a lot of good whiskey sales and that new shamrock soap!

Already talking like a tele dude. Whats next? A long white beard that only half grows in?

Not sure if I'll ever be able to grow a long beard but I'll definitely start saying I get way more face shots than I actually do and claiming to be a "televangelist"

Maybe these will last me more than three months? Lord I hate flat pedal shoes with a burning passion. Almost enough to switch to clips.

I also have a love hate relationship with flat pedals and flat pedal shoes. I had a pair of giro riddance that lasted about a month before the soles were so torn up that the pedal body contacted the sole more than the pins, and now I have RC Hellion that seem to be holding up much better. I like flats because I like jumping and they make a lot more sense for fitting in rides during the workweek, but I've been considering going back to clipless for my mtb and will definitely run clipless once I get a fixed gear built up again.

Come to the dark side. I’ve been riding clips for 19 years now, scared shitless of flats lmao
