ok I know I sound like a total noob but what exactly do booster straps do? I know they wrap around the cuff of the boot liner and somehow make it more comfortable??

From my understanding, the elastic band patent is expiring soon and most boot manufacturers will be incorporating first-party “booster straps” into all performance OEM boots launching in the next couple years. If the boot mfrs are going to this tech, you know it’s legit

Sooooo the 102’s are lightttt. But the jester pros being full metal are heavy... so overall the skis themselves are kinda heavy. With that being said, the mount at team is pretty far forward. I can easily butter the noses, but I’m having trouble getting on the tails.
I want to get the 112’s and throw some pt12’s on them and use those as a touring/deeper days ski.

Oh absolutely! I have some 2015 Bent Chetlers in a 185 with Atomic STH2 WTR 16’s (I believe they’re metal) and those babies weigh at least 8lbs a ski. But they cruise through crud and variable terrain like nobody’s business.

Never been mounted, in great condition other than some UV discoloration. Hopefully gonna find some cheap bindings to put on em and rip some bumps

After 6 years I had a crash today that broke my Canon HF G-30.
Replacing with HF G-60.

In the crash, the lens of my HF G-30 was broken from the camera, and now it's just barely hanging on. For sure moisture going to get in there. I will try to use it though until I get the G60.

Bought this same one! Stoked to take it to Idaho/Wyoming this upcoming weekend. I have been really impressed so far with how easy it has made snapping quick, quality shots.

Thought a one-boot quiver would be fine given my Roxa R3s are advertised as a 50/50, "120 flex" 3 buckle touring boot. However, feet have been feeling like they're swimming on lift laps and super unstable while charging fast and landing off stuff in the resort. Also started developing early stage tendonitis in the hinge of my left ankle up into my shin, which is painful and seems very probably related to the boot issue. So taking the week off to ice ankle, and went all out and got the stiffest 130 flex all mountain boot known to man. Got a super good deal too. Stoked!

I swear if there was an official ski instructor boot that would the one. I mean that in the best way possible.

these boots crush ass so hard. Not too much of a fan of the stock powerstrap once it gets worn-out and loses its touch, but its a fixable issue with boosters. I threw a set on my MVs this winter and feels like these things got nitrous in them lol. Also look into replacement soles for these too.
