Bought some aluminum skid plates for my Frontier. Another expensive hobby added to the list. Been finding some class 4 roads up here in VT. Nice to have something to do on the warm shoulder seasons.

Got mine a couple days ago. So quick, tastes way smoother than French press, and puts of strong big dick art hoe energy

Old derailleur broke :( slight downgrade but whatever.

I got a killer deal on some of these, a huge upgrade from my old XC skis.

And a Picture Equation Wet suit on sale for 115$ at a local shop,

picture-organic-equation-3p2-front-zip-wetsuit-black-melange-19-zoom.jpg

I definitely was more money than I wanted to spend, but it felt good to finally buy some stuff for myself. Especially after a summer of random expenses. The XC skis are gonna be super nice on the long tours and getting extra mileage in. I'm super stoked to finally own my own wetsuit for caving.

Bunch of bigger purchases recently.

(purchased with work, not money, gonna be my primary BC setup I think.)

Currently don't have an ETA for any of these things which is making me slightly anxious.

Wait what are those skis

Sego Wizard .5

120mm underfoot, fully rockered, stiff, swallowtail ski blade. 100 cm long. Gonna put Vipecs on them and try to ski as many big Teton lines as I can on them this year. Just need to find some collapsable splitboard poles to go with them.

just curious how do u have so much money to buy stuff if ur in grad school?

I work a full time job that pays decent, full benefits, and tuition waivers all while juggling grad school. I coordinate the undergrad chemistry biochemistry program at my university.

I’ve also saved a bunch of money up to pay for my sled and associated sled gear. I saved for a trailer but lucked out with a buddy letting me use his for free, which means I can keep more tucked away.

Yeah, I sold my soul to MSU for a free grad degree. V lucky to walk away with no student debt. So yeah, I saved a lot for the equipment but I also work my ass off at a 8-5 40hr a week. I also tutor history on the side for some additional money. It's a grind, but I space out my big purchases across a few months rather than buying a bunch in one month.

Damn, thats a steal. Love me some old fudd guns. What is it?

Its a revelation 210a 30-06. Apparently it was made by mossberg in the 70s. Hardly a high end rifle, but $100 is nothing for a 30-06 with a scope. I'll probably just get it sighted in and keep it in the safe.

Local store just got more volkl stuff in, my revolt series 2021 collection is growing.

Superstoked on the duke PT 16, my last pair of shifts are living dangerous

New il moro fits my left foot (smallest) but... I managed to cut up my right foot (dont ask), so wont be able to test/ski for a few weeks probably :| its not like they are easy to getting into, but damn they look good

Those should be an easy on boot! I can't put my boots on unless they are heated first, and I mean hot!

Is it age? or 140 flex race boots? :p

A female friend has like 24-25? boot size and left her atomic touring boots in the car overnight (very cold) before we were going touring, I was really annoyed having to wait for her she took forever to get them on and couldnt.... I'm a big guy, but it took 100% of my force + her finesse to get in them, never thought it possible :p non PU boots.. meh :p

The il moro tounge has limited lift/flex forward vs tradiotional boots, + the ID liner wrap around thingy

It's neither age or 140 boots. I have some 100 Salomon X-Max boots now. Even with the modern plastics, they are difficult if not warmed up good. I place them under the passenger side heater vents. By the time I get to the parking lot, they are nice and soft. They go on easy then.

I though those three buckle Full Tilt thing were easy on boots. I remember my old Rachle (sp) Flexon 5's went on easy. Those were the OG Full Tilts. Problem back then was the shell would crack. Mine cracked when I hit them together to release snow after removing them. Many years ago it was. Plastics are way better today.

OMG! I know a lady that must be 65+ years. She lost like all her toes on one foot to a mower! She has a kick ass boot fitter because she still skis pretty good. Not totally sure when she did it, but I believe it was at a young age.

Machines are dangerous!

2020 magnus 102? what color are the new bases? how do they feel hand flexing the new layup?

They're the same bases as every other year. They're surprisingly stiff when hand flexing but I was able to flex them pretty easily when I clicked into them because of the rocker. They're probably like 25% stiffer than the magnus 90s.
