I'm kinda at my personal limit where I can't realistically expect myself to safely progress much further without a spine protector.
So... I got one of them gummy-vest-types that they make specifically for people of color.

Very wise move. I use a protection vest most all the time. It has a turtleback spine and back protection on the back.
Saved my back several times. It's very similar to what moto-cross people use.

You get the 183cm version then? They measure only 181cm but long effective edge and nice flex. Really looking forward to them! Think they will be a Enforcer 104/Fisher Ranger 102/Menace 98 blend.

Was surprised when the pic has the 183cm size underlined and figured you’d go 188cm. My bases were fairly flat but was at a place to get the bindings mounted with the $350k Winterstieger Mercury so had just the bases ground flat for $20 CAN and I’m doing the edges and waxing myself. Putting a 1/3 tune sharp tip to tail. If you got the 188cm, go Candide line.
Going to ski them first and see if I’m keeping the Enforcers and Fishers still but I bet they will be sold.
Gamers/Black Ops 118 are crud destroyers! Could run over a small child and barely notice. Lol

Getting bindings mounted for sure has its highlights as they quite often check the skis for me and just fix them if they are not perfect. I will probably mount them myself though. I just grabbed a few binders to test looks, forza 1.0, 2.0, gold and jester 16 black + jester 18 pro (green ) ... I think the forza 2.0s match the least. but going all black and stealhty miiiight be cool, green also looked good.
I sold all but my enforcer 110s in the series of enforcers I had, supereasy to sell I have to say.. Keeping my fischers though, payed so little for them, and love them so much.

Mine didn’t have the sticker on them from the rep so never saw it. Yes, about 3.5cm back from Center for the Candide mark. Mine were 2280 and 2270 grams and not that much front rocker compared to enforcers or fishers but similar to the Fishers and less than Enforcer 104s in the tail.

I also remembering loosing skis, like ohh yeah I forgot to tighten my bindings this trip, ski goes zoom, the cord pulls you, and you eat shit. . So tightening up the bindings would be needed every few runs ;D
I remember the scarpa boots coming out, insane how much control you could have with the NTN, but yoou would warranty the boots constantly, and the "neutral" stance had a race stance, so just standing chilling would be more demanding, then skiiing!
I miss the powder, and groomer on telemark, I do not miss ice & snow piles in steep narrow runs.

They did not turn me into T-Hall. A bit disappointed with them. Just too much tail tip and rocker. Darn elf shoes.
I did learn how to rip some carves on the groomers though. Tips and tails flapping be darned.
Now I have some Candide 4.0's to try for powder. Somehow I don't think I'll be like Candide either! ;-)
