TBH, I really wanted to get some purple dh pants, but the partner talked me out of it because then we'd match.

That makes me happy! They're kind of a guilty pleasure for me. My daughter has the jellyfish ones, and I have three pairs: an original pair that's 18 years old from back when they were made in the USA (which I'm trying to keep alive as long as possible), and then these two pairs, which may seem excessive, but that's one each for home and motorhome, and we fish HARD. That, and I wanted to support two different local businesses (Salmon Sisters and Fishe who each designed one of the prints below).

they’re so nice, really wish i had an American made pair but still stoked to have these. If you use them enough it makes sense to have a few pairs!!

I've been drooling over some Xtratufs for a couple years not. Wouldn't mind a pair of the 6" slip on fishing boots
 
Bought this beauty two days ago at the local music shop. I'm studying jazz saxophone at university, so if I'm not play my sax, I'm doing stuff on keys to work out harmony and such. I'm just finding it really stressful given how much I'm practicing, without even performing or anything. I thought a guitar would be a good way to turn off my music theory brain and just chill.

I'm friends with the owner of the music shop, so I got a banging deal on er.

Yeah, visually it is, but if you look closer, the BB is offset a few inches back from the front triangle, that linkage is deceiving. So the effective STA is 76° which is pretty bang on for what I'm looking for. The tube itself just slopes more because it's starting so far ahead of the BB.

Dude my old roommate had one of these. They are awesome. The Google Earth app is crazy. The perspective you get in street view is so realistic. The Space Station app is really cool too.

I was looking into the camp lift...people seem to like that as a primary device. But it's hard to judge because there's a ton of personal preference that going into it

I already had an ascension so I decided to stick to that route. Although it would be nice to have something toothless like the lift.

I've done a fair bit of rope soloing. Enough to learn that I truly don't enjoy it. I've had every device there is. Soloist, Silent Partner, GriGri (modified and non), mini-traxions, micro-traxions, croll, cinch, ascenders, and a host of others. If you do get into rope soloing (presumably TR), make certain you use a chest harness. Or at least use a sling as a makeshift chest harness.

Honestly, it's far more of a pain than it's worth. It's a super useful skill to know (at least lead soloing), and will help when/if you get into walling as far as being able to short-fix pitches, but most discover that rope soloing is far more work than fun.

Yeah I feel that. I've heard a lot of people say similar things, but I've also heard a lot of people that found a set up that worked for them. I'm not opposed to picking up a few different ascender combos and seeing if I can find something to work. Sell what I don't use on the proj. That's what mountain projects for anyways hahahaha

Been on the hunt for a set of C3s for a while. got a basically brand new set off the proj for cheaper than I was expecting. Really hyped to try them out. Super useful in the SD granite.

Always thought friction labs was overpriced and a load of marketing bs. I decided to try it on a whim and found out that that is indeed exactly what it is. Will not buy again, but it feels the same as any chalk so now I have chalk.

Also bought a quart of Stans because I spend a stupid amount of my life swapping tubeless setups for myself or my partner.

I've heard mixed reviews of that stem (the bearing preload screw loosening) but I really like the concept, do you already have the EDC tool?
