Well I know that, but the styling for 2011 is different than it was for 2010, and the GTS has 2011 body styling (on steroids), which is more angular and, like I said, ferocious, if only minimally.

tinting the car would look fine as long as you didnt go for the darkest possible tint, just get something sorta dark. and just dont even touch any of your lights, turn signals, whatever. its going to look bad. the only time it doesnt look bad is when theres like 10 grand in other body work done to the car and it matches it really well, and even then im not a fan. but on a stockish body car, its just going to look very out of place and cheap.
your wheels will look worse than other wheels would if you painted them black because of how they look. if i were you id go look on some bmw forums under the classifieds for wheels. you can probably find some awesome looking bbs's for under 500. just put up a want to buy thread and ask for something cheap that looks good and im sure you will find something.

and look up the wheels that come stock on the 330i zhp (which is an awesome car) they look pretty cool and you can usually find oem wheels for cheaper than aftermarket.
honestly i like the way your wheels look, others might look better, but for stock wheels they look pretty cool. painting them black will just look dumb, and if your gonna paint any wheels stay away from actual black, or gloss black. and go for a more gunmetal color. really, any color doesnt look good when its spray paint. powdercoating looks much better but it also costs more.
if i were you id just spend your money on performance stuff. stiffer/lower springs, maybe new shocks, a catback exhaust, chip, i wouldnt worry about a new intake, maybe just a new filter. and a polyurethane bushing kit for your suspension will make your can feel, handle, and ride so much better. its a big improvement.
 
thanks for the suggestions. the only reason i even considered spray painting is cause a kid at my school did it to his wheels and it looked sick. couldnt tell at all that they were sprayed, just looked like custom rims
 
a darker gunmetal on a silver car looks tits imho, i would def go for that over stock, black looks too ricey now a days, imo. and your wheels are pretty nice looking for stockers, most are way smaller/plainer. also agreed with the keeping it stock, wheels, lips ect, over body kits/aftermarket wheels, keeps it cleaner, and more of a 'enthusiast' look, than the tuner look.

these are nice looking cars. those wheels work on it too.
if it were me, I could start with suspension mods (coils would be preferred, but even if you just get different springs). A bit of a drop would do wonders aesthetically for it, and the handling should be improved as well.
I would leave the wheels. In order to do a nice paint job, you'd need to get them re-machined to eliminate the rash.

 
Honestly, most rims would look like shit sprayed flat black, but those would look pretty tight. some guy around me had a blacked out 300 with flat black rims like that on it and it looks pretty bad ass.

here is a good argument against smoked tail lights and maybe agianst tinted windows too, even on a murder out car it still looks better without smoked tailights, painting the interior casing of lights is cool tho

the panamara is one of the ugliest cars porsche has made, the cayanne being the ugliest.
 
no no no. panamara is the ugliest. there is a super sick cayanne in my town. black paint black rims lowered suspension and red calipers. super sick.
 
M3 GTS. Hitting European markets soon...you can buy it like that, and it's street legal. It's not a normal M3, but that right there is stock. And, like, $100K.
