i got tyrolia attack 14s which have a really good pattern for that. i saw somone have two sets of quiver killers on a ski where one was for alpine bindings and one was for touring bindings. it was proof of concept enough for me.

Another thing to factor is using vibratite each time you swap as well. Must be a cleaner way cause I got that all over hands

yo what fill me in on that? they killed an american and we haven't bombed the shid out of them?

Nah he wasn’t a US citizen but was a pretty big scandal I recall. He relocated to the us and he worked for the post. He was living in the US for a year I think before he went to Saudi Arabia and then was killed, almost certainly at the orders of the prince.

Someone call the wahhhhhmmbulance for all powder mountain locals

Sounds pretty shit ngl. No pass limit, paid parking, and Terrain reduction all scream towards cash grab/crowds

Absolutely scored at Eldora today- someone had left a whole pickle and a ton of French fries on the free food shelf

A few weeks ago I found 2 untouched chicken tenders on the shelf. Shoutout to all the rich eldora gapers

Free your mind from the confines of the east coast

no but genuinely i enjoy big sky's park so much every time i go up there is not a single thought of doing anything but park. it is simply too good to sacrifice a few runs on the mountain

Someday come around with me I'll show you actual good lifts that aren't for Texas tourists

I was trying to think of some good transitional lifts if he’s been on swifty all year. I don’t want to send him up to challenger or shedhorn if he’s been skiing mr. k laps for months on end lol

I got the opposite problem, I do a few laps in park then just wanna bomb some drops and floaty 1s and 3s around the mtn.

Just do what you’re feeling, big sky’s park looks pretty fire rn too

I was pretty neutral about the skiers going to compete in Saudi Arabia but then I saw the photos of them smiling and looking tough w their medals I got a truly sick feeling in my stomach. Fuck this shit

It's more about the wasted time it takes to get there and back compared to other options, plus he hasn't been skiing Mr K, you can't get to the park from that run.

True, I forgot the name of the other flat green to get to the park lol. The terrain on those lifts bangs imo, super worth the short traverse

Calamity Jane. I just learned of its awful name this month and I've been skiing it for four years

I am a firm believer that big mountain is easy and that i can cruise through the harder terrain given that i have the desire to leave the park.

finally timed a trip well and got to ski some fresh snow.

Such a great feeling when the weather lines up for trips. Always such a gamble planning ski trips in advance

gave up half of a pow day to teach my niece how to ski, which was totally worth it. My legs were on fire from crouching down so much.

Just put up the new edit from our trip to Hokkaido check it out! I didn't label it as rusutsu resort for all the riff raff on YouTube, but you guys are cool so I'll let you know it's at rusutsu resort. Rusutsu rocks!

New STH16s are fucking insane, bros. Shit makes you feel like you're going to shoot out of your boots with that power transfer and elasticity.

In a good way?

In the best way possible. I can see how the power transfer switch on the toes could present an issue should it break, but it's a great binding. I like the progressive setting more but need to test out the direct setting more. I accidentally set my toes today in the direct on one ski and felt a bit flat-flooted in a turn.

Skied in -22 today there were still some solid pockets of powder and was a good day overall but damn my toes are not built for that shit. Also was too windy to build a jump :^(

We had spring skiing all winter in AB and now that it's spring we're getting january conditions lol. Not complaining as long as the snow keeps coming

Shower thought:

If ski areas really want people to start using public transportation options to get to the hill, they need to drastically increase the amount of lockers available and stop pricing them as some elite members only thing. I think about taking the $10 bus up to bogus on weekends but never do. I hate driving the road, and gas and vehicle wear and tear probably makes the bus a financially incentive option. But I need space for my things. A spare layer, my lunch, another set of skis for when it gets tracked out, spare gloves, etc. Give me space to put all those things while I’m skiing and now the bus is a much more welcoming option.
