Also will prolly be there at least one day this weekend. If they even have one tube and handrail that's a good enough park for me lol. Muff did you go to Zero Zone sunday?

Nah I got sick, setup looked nice though. Glad that rain storm didn’t stop it

It's currently forecasted to hit a high of 80 degrees at timberline lodge on sunday. This will be far be the hottest day I've ever skied, I'm going to get burnt to a crisp

get some high quality sunscreen, like neutrogena stuff. you can use it like crazy and you'll never even notice it's on you, it's great stuff1070747.jpeg

Ah too bad. It did look fun, better the second time. I hope that's there's enough snow we can keep doing them into June when I get back

Is the plan just every Sunday? If so I’m going to just request every Sunday off till June

When do next years [tag=209275]@J_skis[/tag] usually come out or at least give a sneak peak, I’m keen on some joyrides or allplays

also now that’s been a bit what do people who’ve rode them think of the joyrides. Thinking about those being my hard pack general skiing days, with park in mind too obviously but sometimes the park is brick

End of season depression starting to hit in CO. Really wish I could afford a mountain bike this summer

What happened to [tag=285107]@Bio_8[/tag] and [tag=288496]@Neihartcatshart1[/tag]

I got 3 notifications where Bio 8 made threads with shitty names

Has a company ever made a park ski that is edgeless at the tip, tail and underfoot but still has an edge on the rest of the ski?

Did it work? Seems like an interesting idea.

It’s too much sacrifice I imagine. you still get some edgehold with detuned skis meaning jump performance would suffer. And edgeless tips and tails work because it isn’t used much

when not sliding rails, most of the power transfer to snow is underfoot, it might work for slush but other conditions maybe not.

althought @weatcoast did it, he could chime in

I think one year of moments had this, maybe they were just protos? Either way it never seemed to work well

Thoughts on people having vishnus before they ever hit a rail

My less experienced friends I convinced to get freestyle oriented skis say they're really glad they listened to me. Way easier to ski for people who don't really carve much regardless if they don't hit park

Not really what I meant, some people say you HAVE to be good to have certain skis (like vishnus, jets, On3p, etc) and if you have those skis and your not good they get mad.

Well yeah I know that's what you meant and I think that's elitist bullshit. My point is they can and should be used by people who can't hit rails

Most ppl with Jets I’ve seen irl aren’t that good tbh

You can have fun on Vishnus and any other kind of freestyle ski without touching a rail.

But Definitely give rails a try though, that's what Vs are known for

Springtime reminds me how much I absolutely love playing find the transition in a mogul field and trying to jump as far as I can off of moguls

[tag=268329]@strictly[/tag] 's Most Gutter opening w/ Electric Wizard is my most favorite all-time ski movie opener.

my fav is the opening to Magma 2

I’ve been using mountainflow eco’s Moly wax lately and I’ve gotta say - it does feel pretty great for this late of season. Feels like it doesn’t get bogged down as easily and keeps up speed

Jib League round 3 is up. It still seems like a very healthy event for skiing, particularly with the open qualifiers as an alternative to FIS stuff and the athlete judging. Hyped for next season; big ups to Øystein, Ferdi, and Woodsy for putting it together.
