B1’s currently have far more problems than any jet in the fleet which is why they’re being phased out Out of all the current ones available they’re not all air worthy and upgrade cost are soaring. B1,2 and f22 cannot carry the payload of a b52. The b2 is being replaced by the b21 raider. But again those are more for strategic precision bombing. B52’s while they can carry almost all of the newest munitions they’re still the best for massive carpet bombing.
