Going to Sun Valley to work construction on the new Seattle Ridge hs6. Stoked to be able to work outside in the mountains and be involved in the ski industry while still having gainful employment!

oh dagggg how did you get those and what for? lol

Low T I guess hahaha. It came up because I was telling my doctor that I work out 7 days a week and she was surprised I wasn't incredibly jacked despite eating five meals a day and taking hella protein supplements, so I got tested and I was like just below the normal threshold

First day of summer crew with u23 as a 17 year old was fuckin brutal.

We had the option of a 5k run or Erg. The stipulation was the 5k run had to be faster than ur last 5k PR on the erg. Which for me is 18:23, ran a 16:21 5k which i feel is pretty quick for someone who really only does long steady state runs in my UT2. Then we went straight into 10x2:00 minutes at max press 2k PR or sub 2k and it was horrible, some guys even college rowers passed out or hacked. Finished way slower than i woulda liked my split went from 1:42-1:46 by the end!

Coach is keeping a white board charts and we’re doing this exact thing every monday to determine seats in the 8. Currently 4th overall on the chart since I was second on the run and 5th on the erg. Mind u not all the older guys were back yet.

Ol Skips wants me in 7 seat so he can put the big fellas in 6-3, which is wild. Putting a 17 year old in stern pair of a boat of 19-22 year olds is nuts. Hella nervous for tmr and also rowing on the water with these guys!

here’s a sick drone pic of us out in a pair post practice tho

Row, row, row your boat

Underneath the stream.

Ha-ha, fooled you!

I'm a submarine.

White water kayaking is calling for you. Rowing seems super tough but it's not hardcore enough :).

me and my dad have 17 and 19 foot sea kayaks and go out paste the break wall in 10-15 foot swells during storms and it’s such a fuckin thrill. I remember the first time he took me out I was 12 and he bought me a NDL explorer as my B day gift. Got a big cycle not even three days later. Taught me to roll in our pool. Took me out, i got flipped by a way and capsized. ripped me right out the skirt and slammed me into the break wall. Had to get rescued by the coast guard ???. Have only been out once or twice since then, he’s lowk insane for enjoying that and going alone. It’s so fuckin scary, the lake has no regard for anyone, especially 12 year old me.

Rivers are gnarly af. White water kayaking eats lot of shoulders even on a beginner level. Amount of middle aged people who stopped because their shoulders couldn't take it anymore is huge, my dad included in those people.

I want to get into it but it's quite hard because of my home place. When I'm leaving this place I will get into it.

my landlord/roomate has the cutest lil foster puppy ever that I've been hanging with. Im gonna be sad when lil homie has to go back to his home. We took him on a lil evening hike near the Colorado this evening and he's so cool.

At what age do u have to stop being a ski bum

Never if you are a real skiing bum.

I'm personally aiming to become a real adult somewhere around late 20s/early 30s. Slide skiing few spots down on the priority list.
