He's had one less decade of mental decline

I mean he's worked actual real jobs too. Being a litigator is much harder than being in Gov for 50 years like bird brain biden and being on TV using daddy's money like Trump.

Today I learned that you should probably turn off main valves to irrigation systems before switching out sprinkler heads so you don't almost get knocked-out by hundreds of pounds of PSI

Watching that dirtbike movie Gnarnia, I get why these guys do it, it's literally flying on a motorcycle, but holy shit the risk of death and the crashes are so fucked.

The key is to set yourself up and then ski bum a few years.

I got really jaded with where life was going In my mid to late 20s. So I quit my job, left Colorado and ski bummed across the world. What I would consider my career, as opposed to just jobs I worked, didn’t truly start until I was 29 and part of it came from those years I was ski bumming. I latched onto an idea of something I wanted to do because of someone I met during those years. He explained to me how much you can make in the industry, what it’s done for him, etc.

4 years later and I do that thing at a Fortune 500 company so I have to kinda thank the ski bumming years.

Being able to ski bum in the Southern Hemisphere or just hike across the Northeast for two months is a huge part of why I love my job.

What industry and what do you do in that industry?

I'm still looking for ideas about what to do in the future. I have few ideas what to do but nothing that I'm 100% sure if I want to commit.

Keeping it vague on here but Salesforce stuff in the greater finance industry(ies).

It's always funny when people walk past our house and you can hear their mostly negative comments about our house, yard or the stuff in it. Those retards can't wait for a few minutes so that they are past our house, we can hear you talking. Or maybe those comments were meant to be heard.

Is your house made of Paper Mache? How the hell do you hear people outside so easy

Not really, Windows are open during summer to every direction. I Mostly have been on our yard when I hear them.

Do you have A/C or do you just live in an oven like most finns?

We have something called air source heat pump. It's in our kitchen, so it really doesn't help with the rest of the house. There is like 3 doors and million walls between me and that thing. for that reason I always have my window open and which is close-ish to the street.

People make jokes and memes about Gordon Lightfoots song but The Edmund Fitzgerald is still absolutely fascinating and also scary to think about it. I was obsessed as a little lake baby in MI and even made a model of Whitefish Point lighthouse. As an adult, it's a downright terrifying story. 30 ft waves and 80-90mph gusts on superior during November gales and rain/snow. And it's super fucking badass that the Arthur M. Anderson changed her course to go back for their bros. A different breed of human back then. There's videos of the ship doing a master salute to The Fitz on November 10th and it's kind of sad
