Hyped to sorta build it out with some cross bars, maybe rims, spacer lift and a roof box and bike rack plus blacking out some chrome!!! she’s only got a 160k on it but it’s in amazing shape and i’ll make sure i get atleast 300k considering our life long friends have about 400k on theirs

I kind of agree with the article tbh, a lot of the newer songs are defiately more "trendy" and not as unique as some of his older songs. my playlist has pretty much every released yeat song in it, and i know every one of them . Been listening to only yeat for a couple of years now, after mainstream rappers only rap about shooting and gang activity, which is not something that is to be celebrated in my opinion. yeats songs tended to be more unique and had their own creative approach to them.

Have MLB games always been full of empty seats? I haven’t been to a game in almost 10yrs at this point so I don’t really remember what it used to be like, but I swear the stadium was usually almost full. Every time a bar has a game on or when I see a picture on insta the stadiums are half full at best.
Is baseball dying? IDRC either way.
14612715:SteezyYeeter said:definitely to both questions. I was actually just thinking of posting about how I miss when baseball was the dominant sport in our culture, it seems to have given way to football and basketball. it hasn't exactly been replaced though, there just seems to be a hole regarding sports in pop culture (which has probably been filled by skibidi toilet). what I'm saying is besides a with few names like Tom Brady, LeBron James, basketball and football aren't really present in today's pop culture. they are more popular but they will never replace the charisma of baseball. a few decades ago baseball would have been much more popular and everyone would have known several "big names" that were active in the sport. idk I'm not trying to articulate this well just saying the first thought that comes to my mind. would be interesting to study the "fall" of baseball.
14612721:SlushSeason said:Basketball is absolutely everywhere in our pop culture. Especially as rap music has replaced pop music, Basketball gets injected into everything. The trope about all rappers wanting to be ballers is pretty true
Baseball has really fallen off from our media though. In the 90s and early 2000s it seemed like every kids movie was about baseball. My friend who's a major Baseball nerd theorized that all the rich movie producers grew up in the 40s and 50s when baseball was life for most kids so when they took over movie studios, they funded baseball media. Now, that generation has retired and so there's a lot less money getting pushed into baseball projects.

14612723:SlushSeason said:Oh, i should also mention that media has become much more internationalized. A movie about American kids playing baseball won't sell in China, so they make movies about emojis and minions instead.
