Post whats on your mind

hell yeah I drove through a massive puddle and my check engine light immediately turned on. Scanned the code and I might need a new O2 sensor. They range from $30 to $100, does anyone know if I can get away with a lower tier O2 sensor?

Tbh I’ve been running a o2 sensor code on my tundra well over 30,000 miles with no issue.

But my 2 cents with sensors is go OEM, after market sucks for them, I tried a aftermarket maf sensor for an xterra as well as my old escape and almost made it run worse for both

Happy Memorial Day Weekend. Remember the fallen. Ty Great Grandpa Leonard W. Barenthen, Navy Seaman 1st Class who was buried at sea during the Pacific Theatre of WWII. And my Grandpa Bob who was a Marine though he never liked talking about his service. He had the sickest Corps tattoo on his left bicep and would always try to steal my desert when we would get dinner.

Super boring day at work. Anyone have any good Wiki deep-dive recommendations?

Conspiracies? Mysteries? Natural Phenomenon's?

Help me make it to 5pm.

I know I’m late to this post but go to wiki voyage. Any place in the world has an article, my favorites are the articles for war ridden countries, because people tend to never look past the problems in the country, so you always come away with some new knowledge of the culture/geography of the country. My favorites are Yemen, Somalia and Afghanistan

I love Yeats music but this review is honestly so funny and accurate I can't even be mad

i listen to all yeat songs and albums, even super old stuff like wake up call and different creature. I kind of agree with the article tbh, a lot of the newer songs are defiately more "trendy" and not as unique as some of his older songs. my playlist has pretty much every released yeat song in it, and i know every one of them . Been listening to only yeat for a couple of years now, after mainstream rappers only rap about shooting and gang activity, which is not something that is to be celebrated in my opinion. yeats songs tended to be more unique and had their own creative approach to them.

There ain't much bad that being wildy in love very suddenly can't erase from your brain to be honest.

Into my third month of relationship with a lovely gal and it’s amazing how much more settled and steady I am with stress because of her.

just bought a white 2011 xc90 3.2 awd, one owner, blis, crash sensors, winter mode, no leds or cross bar or back up cam but we can replace that. Hyped to sorta build it out with some cross bars, maybe rims, spacer lift and a roof box and bike rack plus blacking out some chrome!!! she’s only got a 160k on it but it’s in amazing shape and i’ll make sure i get atleast 300k considering our life long friends have about 400k on theirs

question for baseball heads:

Have MLB games always been full of empty seats? I haven’t been to a game in almost 10yrs at this point so I don’t really remember what it used to be like, but I swear the stadium was usually almost full. Every time a bar has a game on or when I see a picture on insta the stadiums are half full at best.

Is baseball dying? IDRC either way.

definitely to both questions. I was actually just thinking of posting about how I miss when baseball was the dominant sport in our culture, it seems to have given way to football and basketball. it hasn't exactly been replaced though, there just seems to be a hole regarding sports in pop culture (which has probably been filled by skibidi toilet). what I'm saying is besides a with few names like Tom Brady, LeBron James, basketball and football aren't really present in today's pop culture. they are more popular but they will never replace the charisma of baseball. a few decades ago baseball would have been much more popular and everyone would have known several "big names" that were active in the sport. idk I'm not trying to articulate this well just saying the first thought that comes to my mind. would be interesting to study the "fall" of baseball.

Basketball is absolutely everywhere in our pop culture. Especially as rap music has replaced pop music, Basketball gets injected into everything. The trope about all rappers wanting to be ballers is pretty true

Baseball has really fallen off from our media though. In the 90s and early 2000s it seemed like every kids movie was about baseball. My friend who's a major Baseball nerd theorized that all the rich movie producers grew up in the 40s and 50s when baseball was life for most kids so when they took over movie studios, they funded baseball media. Now, that generation has retired and so there's a lot less money getting pushed into baseball projects.

Oh, i should also mention that media has become much more internationalized. A movie about American kids playing baseball won't sell in China, so they make movies about emojis and minions instead.

Its still kind-of early season for the MLB. Not quite truly baseball weather where its sunny and warm out. Right now I think its just mostly die-hard baseball fans who just love the game straight up. Especially old dudes who keep their own scorecards and listen to broadcasts on a radio while watching in person. Those dudes have seen lifetimes worth of games. Would be cool to chat one of them up about their most memorable games.

Growing up in Michigan, memorial weekend was all about getting the boat in the water and first water skiing of the year. Now living out west for the past 3 years I get to actually ski ski memorial weekend.

I think reviewer was overstating his case here. Biggest issue is that its a bloated album, which is a common issue with a lot of albums these days.

My grandparents lived on a lake in northern LP and we would always do after dinner missions as that tended to be when it was glass. Miss tho days.

Yeah but that's also pitchfork, very pretentious website. If the album was 5 songs they still would have found a way to shit on it, it's only because it's not a new or progressive sound so therefore they don't really care. But they gave some props which is fair too I think

still has a big Central American and japanese/Korean following I believe.

Yeah, the sport is super popular in Japan/Korea/Spanish Caribbean. Those places could have tons of baseball media that i don't hear about. But Hollywood definitely isn't pumping out baseball movies just for them

So get this....2018ish was around the time Tahoe started fining the shit out of tourists and doling out $2000 parking tickets.

Then fast forward a few years, and they created a "ban" on short term rentals.

Now..........they want them back ??????

1093202.jpeg

Anyone with half a brain should know this is just a millionaire tax. This initiative isn't gonna do anything but generate revenue from fines on a finite number of homes. People who own those homes can definitely afford an extra $6k lmao. Such a stupid idea. You'd be better off having the states provide tax credits for people who rent out their homes x percent of the year, which boosts tourism>local economy boost>tax revenue from rentals. They could even jack up the rental tax rate in a way that doesn't tip the demand for rentals. My God this is hilarious
