Just brautwurst from city market. I bought them at like 1pm and didn’t put them in the cooler and cooked em at like 9pm so this was entirely on me.

Grabbing lunch and just witnessed some dude hitting on the cashier girl get so brutally turned down in front of the entire restaurant. And then after he leaves all the kitchen staff start making fun of him lol damn, poor guy

Appreciate that. I’m in southeast Florida so it shouldn’t be too bad for me right now we’re forecasted for 35-45mph winds. Tampa area and into Orlando are forecasted for really bad stuff. The storm surge is the worst part currently. Talking 15+ft in some locations.

that’s happened to me twice. one time i had finished all my food and sarcastically asked for a box and she put her number on receipt paper and in a box and had her co worker give it to me. the other just had her friend tell me she was interested and then i got her number. zero dates out of it but real confidence booster for sure.

Yeah I feel like the only real way to date a server is to be a server, otherwise it doesn't really work out anyways because the hours never line up to actually go on the dates haha

neither of these are likely to work ime. leaving your number by itself is too passive, and odds are they're not going to leave their number for you without you making a move. just discreetly give them your number in person if you get a chance-- that way, you've made the move but left the ball in your court

I know I was just saying if the server leaves their #you know they were actually flirting since half the job is faking it for tip money, worked as one long enough to know you just get better tips if you fake flirt with everyone

Sarasota/Tampa area is about to get smoked they got lucky during helene as Crystal River got hit harder but I dont feel like theyll get off the hook this time.

Ya it’s going to be really bad up that way. Track keep changing slightly from making landfall in Tampa to Sarasota area. Worst case is Tampa because of the way the bay is shaped.

Being a skier is the opposite of the usual gym bro. Gotta cut for winter and bulk for summer.
