Man fuuuuck my dad. My sister was on my pc, my dad comes in to my room pissed asf because my brother and I were arguing, he decides to wreck my setup that I FUCKING PAID FOR because my sister was using it, and he didn’t like that apparently. He was angry cause my brother and me were arguing. Then decides to make everyone in the house a victim of his anger. Also threatened to hit my sister. My setup was janky and cheap but I still paid for that shit and he ruined it. I hate my fucking family. Happy birthday to me

my flagship pen Pen V2 will be at least $500 as the piston seals are $13, takes a foot of aluminum to make and 2 days of work. a nib will be at minimum $20. i will be making a much simpler pen i can sell for under $100 later down the line

I can't talk too much shit cuz I do have a bit of a vaping issue I need to address but I won't have a hissy fit over it. Plus this entire county burned down in 2020 due to people's carelessness. And I fuckin detest ciggy butts on all the projects I've been busting ass on all summer.

Yes absolutely.....not a no name pen, but people spend wayyyyyy more than that..... I own multiple just under that range.....However the issue is breaking into a high end market like that as a no name brand made in apartment is going to be insanely hard.

Other than the fact that youre going against massive and well respected pen companies like Mont Blanc and Visconti in the 500+ price range, along with Pilot, Sailor, Lamy etc etc etc in the 150-500 price range. You also are going to get a 14k, 18k, or 21k gold nib for pens in that range, and they often have gold or other precious metal platings etc etc.....so ya know......

Idk as a pen collector I wouldnt really be interested at the 500 one......the 100 dollar one I will probably snag when it comes around though. Theres just no way im gunna spend 500+ and not get a Mont Blanc Meisterstuck or a Visconti Homo Sapians

Yeah, for pens with fancy materials made by pedigreed brands. I'm just really skeptical that an aluminum pen made on a mini lathe in a college apartment will sell for that much. The barrier to entry is way too low

Not a clue if there’s a market especially since you cannot see what makes the pen special. But I do know that people love hand made goods and trinkets so maybe someone will buy one if I go to a big sky farmers market or something

Its wayy more common than you would think. For a lot of people, it is like having a nice watch. I see a lot of businessmen, lawyers, or doctors etc. with a mont blanc on their desk as a status symbol.

They are also very popular in certain arts because of the variety of inks, flexes of the nibs, line variety, and different nib grinds allowing for unique possibilities.

In terms of day to day work use, or journaling etc, they are also popular for people that write a lot because you don't have to push down in order for ink to flow. It makes it possible to write a lot more pages prior to cramping. Then you also get variety of ink colors. And you get different feedback than gels or roller balls. Meaning you can have scratchier or way smoother writing depending on what you want.

thats quite the dying industry unfortunately. nasa just reported that july 22nd was the hottest day on the planet ever. coral reefs are like the least resilient thing ever and die if the temp changes a couple degrees.

Update: my dad isn’t apologizing for anything and fully stands by his behavior. Also it turns out my computer isn’t that fucked up. He just ripped out some usb ports and bent some prongs but it still works fine. Dads still an ass tho
