they only bad thing is the rail is short and it has to be at my friends houe b/c i have no land and his dogs always shit around the drop in and the you step in it

dude you guys are sick at making backyard setups. you should see mine, it sucks ass. i dont have any pics of it though

Here's my wallride I built this summer, I have yet to hit it:

And this is my box from last year, super fun and easy:

Also, I'm building a flat down rail that I should weld pretty soon, I'll post up some pics when I finish it.

a friend of mine's

not a rail, but a drop in. its 8 ft tall, and sitting on top of a hill thats like 8-10 ft of vertical.

watch

hes planning on making a dece sized jump

might be lame looking, but that style of rail is one of the most progressive/fun/durable rails i have ever hit. I have one with the same pipe, just a little taller. Yours also looks very well made.

^^^ yea i feel liike something like that would really get your balance up.

just made this baby. 3 1.5inch PVC 16 feet long about a little more than 2feet off the ground

hes pushing it a little bit so the ramp flows nicely into a natural hill. there might be some manipulation of snow to make it smoother, but it'll be fine.

$55 and 4 hours of time.

12 feet and about 20-22 inches high

let me know how it looks... i hope we didn;t screw up.

maybe too many wholes in the surface?

i would seriously like some input.. PM with thoughts, if you could

let you know how it looks?umm...it looks like wood and pvc pipe.white and a little tannish color?i could be mistaking...but thats what it looks like to me.oh it looks long too...

I would say it looks pretty good. I have never made a rail with holes in the top, but i couldn't imagine it being too much of a problem. Also, I haven't really made too many rails with vertical supports, but i have seen many others on here with them, i am sure it will work just fine. If the rail, for some reason isn't as sturdy as you would like it, try triangles like a post a couple posts up. Next time if you want to cut down the cost try and find some left over wood at construction sites or something. But that rail looks pretty sick there, good work.
Coincidentally, I just finished a rail very similar to this one this afternoon. It is twelve feet long with two 1.5 inch pvc pipes. I can't wait to try it out.

we sessioned it for a few hours this morning (i love homeschooling...) i suck at rails and i stared it down too long, but my brother got some good hits.

we had an interesting experience with the in run..

ill try to get pics up later.

we set this up first

it was no good

my brother had trouble staying straight on the inrun

haha face plane onto icy carpet...

we then set this up

and shortened the inrun by around 12 feet and started getting some hits.

it's ghetto and sketchy, but we had a lot of fun. all we need is a little snow...
