Please tell me that non of you fucks said any of these...

do not get a plastic shovel.

im personally a fan of wasatch touring. their folding saw has burly teeth (but isnt easy to attach to a ski pole for cutting blocks)...G3's seems to be the best for that.

kit should have: crystal card. ruler. slope angle dangle measurer. thermometer. magnifier (just get 5x or 10x, i dont really see a need for a 20x or 25x one). brush. rite in rain book. pencil.

another thing: waterproof pipe gloves. you can dig the pit with your regular gloves, but don't all the snow study is too cumbersome with regular gloves and too cold with bare fingers. ive dug a couple pits this last year at mission ridge with their patrol with pow sonic gloves they were better than bare fingers or normal gloves.

also to add to your kit is emergency suplies, one of those reflective blankets, a days worth of survival food, headlamp, flairs probably arn't a bad idea either.

PSA:

If anyone wants some good cheap Orage gear, come into skimart! The orage rep just brought in a bunch of samples, so all mens stuff is size large and all womens is size small. We've got the TJ pro jacket, cook jacket, lloyd jacket, meza jacket, and others. Don't know how long theyll last.

Anyways.....I said all 11 of those things in the original post
