Yeah the price was a bit of a pain in the arse, with sponsors like L.G.
and channel 4 i didnt think theyd need to pummel the paying customer
for profit.. and ye i guess they could have had a style run aswell but
i think time constraints were already pretty tight, the comp seemed to
go on all day, and to be fair i never really got bored, a super strong
list of skiers, and some fucking sick tricks been thrown, the kicker
also seemed pretty good (if not a little flat) for a city comp.
I was also complaining about the Dumont effect through out, i don't
know whats going on there. I dont see how his double front can score
highly at these competitions, still good to see though.
and id like to clear up that tanner was injured, i think hes hurt his
heel. I'm also happy to say i got the opportunity to talk to him
backstage, and he signed a piece of paper for my mates lil bro to wish
him happy birthday etc., seemed like a really good guy. didn't seem to
be any attitude around him at all, which when your as sick as him is
refreshing to see.
Also i dont think people realise how fucking insane dropping in switch
is on that thing haha, the barriers at the sides of the drop in looked
to be about hip height?? Thank god no one fell on the drop in, but itd
b easy enough to do and anyone who crashed into the barriers and went
over would have been dead.
however all in all, a damn sick event.
