Pink Flamingo Camp III.... Jib the turtle.

" trav and i got a the turtle that we will be jibbing last night."

that's a quote from some fp32 member from the fp32 website so im guessing there is one

^ i looked around online, the only thing i can find is 120$, but its only coming up with like 3 hotels on every site, and im positive there are many more, i'll try to find one of the pns brochures that list all the hotels nearby for you.

Yeah, and if you need a hotel you can just drive like 8 minutes from PNS and there will be about 15. all the ones listed on the PNS site.

when looking at last years photo... from left to right... id say but im not promising anything... big 50-60ft jump on bottom of center stage... then top of normal park would be small jumps, and all the rails that PNS has would be strewn about in various lines there... then at the bottom of all that would be the beggining rail park with all the small rails then on the other side jump line... step up... maybe hip well see how much snow we got

i cant wait for this. the vibe i always get from the guys who ride perfects is awesome. when richie and goat came for our last big air/rail jam they werer so pumped and positive about everything. riding with good people is always a plus. only a few more weekends

i really want to come but i have school on monday and i live in ohio about 3 hours away from perfect? so i dont know what to do? can i come out for one day? or do i still have to pay 100 bucks for one day or can i just pay 50 for one days worth?

im coming from ohio and have school on monday too. i live 10 minutes from snowtrails and it isnt even 4 hours away to perfects. just come for both days

^ yeah. it ends at like 4 or so, so if you leave then, or shortly after, you can be back at Snowtrails or where by 7 or 8. not too bad.

i need to learn alot, i suck this year. I wasnt allowed to jump or even ski for that matter on account of breaking both of my wrists. I still skied but just cruised around in the park watching my friends and hangin out. Maybe that's the reason, or maybe i suck.

i feel you man^... im broken and bored outta my mind. Umm i really dont know Ohio Freestyle's status right now... i hope they all come down but i dont know

where can i find real info on this event like a schedule or maby pn number or somthing besides just word on this thread?

cool cool i am going to try my best to be their. is their still open spots ? and are their going to fill up soon?

this camp sounds so sweet. how is pf on snow right know? are they going to have enough to make some sick stuff when the camp comes?

there should be plenty of snow. and i got word today that i didn't tear anything in my knee so i might be able to make pfc.

my parents are sooo gay

" the timing is bad michael, your going away for spring break; what would happen if you got hurt'" -dad

"yeah we dont want u to be doing those crazy jump things soo far away from home"-mom

FUCK

dude my mom is a regestered nurse and she would be staying with us and its only 2 hours away from home. come on man you have to go. just build their confidence level up, or have them call my parents.

yeah crzyskier you can tell your parents that there will be ski patrol...not to mention all of us. The Ratio of Ski patrol to skiers/boarders may acctually be better at PFC than any other time(Not Postive on that, but ti could be a selling point for your parents)

so wut kinda shit do we do at the camp?? i kno ski but do we jus getta pass and ski the hole day?? and wut kinda stuff will the coaches do for us??? how many jumps...rails...gimme sum info!! so far it sounds sweet

to the coaches....wut ability should i put down...i can 3, 5, and 7 and i can cross w/ spins...almost get a safty w/ spins....no off axis shit yet....should i put learning spins or advanced spins

so like dose everyone split into groups baser on there skill or do u juss like ride and go up to the coaches if u want? or how dose it work?

Alright so real quick i'll just throw down some general information for everyone...

The plan for coaching...

We're going to try and split everyone into groups based on age and ability level and assign a coach that best suits that group. Then that group will try and stick together for most of the day and that entire group will work on certain things as a whole and each individual will get specific instruction to help their situation.

There will be free ski time sometime where you can kinda go and do whatever you feel you wanna do, or go work on things that the coaches went over with you.

However if you feel that you don't want to be with a coach at all you are free to just free ski, however we are going to try and discourage that as much as possible, i feel, because i think it makes it less of a camp and more of a free-for-all.

As far as terrain goes...

Though it is hard for us to know what is gonna happen in the next two weeks with the weather, the plan is to keep most of the terrain park that exists right now how it is. We're going to put the Swingset back out and as well as Wally into the main park. We're going to take every rail that we have and put it on the hill somewhere somehow, so that's around 17 rails. We would like to build some really big features, as well as some stuff that people don't normally get to hit... don't really want to say what because if it doesn't happen then ya know it looks bad and it would just ruin the surprise. Just rest assured that if we have decent weather we will build some sweet stuff.

Any other questions?

Tad

i was wondering...if the weather keeps on being shitty and if PNS closes before the 18th will you guys push the snow from the rest of the hill to use on the terrain park? and if it doesnt close before the camp is over and we dont get time to make snow what snow are we going to use?
