^tyler said most of it, I grew up here, and love it, I'm going to college right now in utah but only because I needed to get away from home and wanted to ski some REALLY good mountains, though the east is always my home. Lots of fun resorts around here, tons to do all year, and the only difference I would say to what tyler said is the college town feel, I live in the "new north end" of burlington which is pretty much the other half of the city, (the highschool and north beach lie in the middle), but it definitely depends on where in burlington you're living. I live in a small suburban area, 10 minutes from downtown and no where near any college apartments etc... Lake+mountains+all seasons+small city=top ten cities in america to live, though I've been told it definitely isn't the cheapest living here... that seems sufficient
