Hey guy's I work at Pats as an instructor and me and some of my friends threw together a quick edit on all four features of the current park. In all honesty, not worth the trip. By 12PM the landing on the jump (that had maybe a 2ft gap to begin with) was bomshelled, the conditions were crusty, and the flow was poor. Non the less, here's what we put together./static/images/flash_video_placeholder.png

pats is fun when u got a bunch of friends and just screw around. good place to learn ur first slips though cuz the jumps r smaller lol... i got a pass there just cuz its close and cheaper on gas when i have to drive to go skiing

Kewl, i enjoy riding the Peak when possible always a good time, i vote group ns day one saturday or sunday, just take over the park for the day have a barbaque

agreed, the landings get bombed out and they never take care of it. plus, the last flat box was set up backwards, so you kept catching on the end....

new park-only groomer, and the crew went to school for jump building! Hope to see you there, I never seem to. What day is the St. Paul's program?

im glad i wasnt the only one gettin killed on that thing, my quad is sore as hell due to catching and falling off that thing a billion times

mon, tues, thurs, fri from roughly 3:30 to 4:45. Wednesdays from 2:00 to 4:45. Any other midweek riders out there? oh and how did that mountain bike work for you, robert?

Brilliantly! Didn't get to ride as much as I would have liked this fall, but I got a lot in over the summer, between Winant trails, the Quarries, and Massabesic a few times. I'll probably see you on some Fridays, then. Finally have my license. What's your outerwear for this year?

the jumps werent bad this weekend. til i overshot the first landed switch and hit my head. for a nice concussion lol

and that flat box was wierd lol i just front swapped it every time.

and the cannon box was actually mad fun. i would just back 2 out of it every time

i wanted to try 4's but i didnt get a chance too... maybe during x mas break.... hopefully they keep the same rails up. i like those

Lookin forward to checking out the park this w/e.

uhhh, so i guess we have new snowbikes to rent now??? wtf is this?. I also teach there and didn't even know about these until today. Can someone fill me in please? Is this a little on the gay side or what? I don't know what to think.

undoubtedly on the gay side of things, and rumor has it that they're allowed EVERYWHERE on the mountain, except parks, and are going to be part of POP...

damn... so instead of getting hit by someone out of control, we're going to get hit by some out of control 200 pound guy on a metal missile.

for real, call ski patrol, kid who's dad is in charge of them is on my ski team, he confirmed you're not allowed to bring them in the park.

yea i saw that sign too... i heard that they got 4 jumps in their park now. can anyone confirm?

where did the put the set, in the park or mini or at F5 again, cause F5 absolutly sucked for most of last year

1:58 i was in the background! yellow/green orage jacket. anyways im gonna be there friday and most of next week the park was actually pretty sick last sunday the jump had a descent landing and the cannon box was perfect for 4's out

if you live near pats peak you inherently live near crotched. crotched>>>>>>> pats peak. period. always will be. dont tell me you live to far. because that is a line of bullshit

alright so no one goes there? wierd cause there was a fuck ton of people there last night? weird right? dont be a bitch and just go

nah i dont ski crotched. i am home for 10 days. utah ftw. go to crotched regardless. and so what if pats is worse? what you like hitting shit features and awful jumps? sounds like a fucking blast to me!

haha settle down. crotched blows compared to other mountains in NH too. Both mountains arent that great but if it cheap and close by who the fuck should care

hahah exactly... and congrats ur in utah... im still 16 so i cant go out there yet but in college ill probs go to utah.... oh and i ski loon a lot more than pats. pats is just close to me and not as much back roads. plus all my friends go their instead of crotched so i go to pats... and if u had ur facts straight then u would realize that every year they get a bit better with the park. like the crew went to cutters camp and trust me that helped with the jumps. there a lot nicer than last year

*just a shit ton haha. Last year they were basically as flat as normal ground. I'd like to see them change it to a triple jump line with bigger jumps/steeper landings than the so-so quad line.

its not like u need steep and long landings for 15 or 20 foot jumps though. u do for like 30's and 40's

Yeah I guess I just like smooth landings like Gunstocks where you tend to just touch down lightly rather than have to brace yourself for a hard landing at Pat's

went yesterday and was suprised on how much better the two jumps were than last year. They need to have 3 and have them be like 30 feet and i would be a lot more stoked to ski there.

On another note, they need to get more rails setup. On sunday I looked over to where they keep their rails and there were soooo many dope ones they need to utilize. If they get there shit together this year they will be a lot more legit in the terrain park world.

they were in the morn. i checked the site. and i would they would have closed... im goin tomorrow see u fools there
