Park skiers at what age did you start to ski park?

Putting balls into is important. I do have to man up a bit. I was thinking about pro skiers and trampolines and I was on one today for the life of me I could not to the backflip every time I would try I would just stall my jump and do some half ass spin. I do need to build up my courage a bit for doing the cool stuff. However I do not think a crazy amount of courage is required for a 180 or 360 it just takes practice.

It took me 3 seasons to learn how to 360. I was also 9 and learned them off mogul jumps. However it took my friends little brother an afternoon to learn 360s and one month to learn 5s and 7s. The reason? He spun off of everything. A little tip for courage too btw. When your are skiing up to the feature, stop thinking and just throw it. Best advice anyone ever gave me.

THIS is the best advice. Might sound a little sketchy but no, don't even think twice. Just go.

I mean you can do it the old fashion way and get over your fears and become a stronger person because of it. Or you could just get hammered and hope for the best.

Started skiing when I was 2 yo. Been hitting jumps since like 10 and got my first twintips with 14. Throwing 180s on every little jump for the whole next season. Broke my upperleg after 3 days the next season.

I now turned 17 and really started riding jumps rails last season and can do 3s and 5s forward and switch with a decent style. I threw some rodeo 5s in the pow too but never in the park.

I don't really care about what I can do and what I can't. As long as you have fun and can throw the tricks you can with style, you don't need anything more.

Started this last season. Came sorta natural but it's getting more technical and harder now. I can front flip , backflip, spin up to 720 , blind 2 on blind 2 out and get some grabs in . I think if you really love it and are determined you can do it. Just make sure you can do the tricks on a tramp first haha

Started skiing park in 8th grade so I was 13 I guess. I'm 23 now, definitely do not have a huge bag of tricks. 360's for life.

started skiing when i was super young like 3 or 5, raced for a while, then quit racing and started competing in moguls in the 7th grade. around when i was i think 16 i started to take park more seriously but still wanted to be good at moguls so i had to split my time on the weekends between the two. Im 21 now and love ripping all over the mountain and waiting for those east coast pow days.

Clearing your mind is very important.

You could probably get hurt even more because if you have second thoughts you might stall your trick mid air and hurt your self with an awkward fall.

I became interested about park at age 12 probably, I'm 15 now. So, basically I started getting serious about it last season when I was 14. It took me until the one or two seasons to finally get threes stomped on small kickers.

I started at about 12 too, never got serious though.

first time ever skiing was in december 2013 and i could 360 5th time out on the hill. i do a lot of trampoline so i was very comfortable in the air compared to my friends i skied with. The key is get some friends who are decent so they can give you some tips and will you on, but you have to be willing to try new things

All mountain is more fun from what it would like and adding a few tricks while skiing around the mountain is one of the reasons why I learn. If you have seen This sander Hadley videohttp://vimeo.com/85012142 it probably wouldn't be good as him, but doing stuff like that to spice up skiing around the mountain.

Awesome vid man. Thats the type of skiing I do myself...though not as good at the tricks. But park definitely helped a lot never was able to do flips (broke collarbone trying one and had a mental block after) but can float some 3's off rollers and stuff so fun
