ive been reading the gh5 thread on dvxuser and its full of people like you complaining about low light.
If you want a low light camera, then buy one! the gh5 is going to shoot 4k60, 422 10 bit 1080p, those are features are only on cameras that cost 10 times what the gh5 will cost. If low light is something you shoot in often, then buy a fucking a7s and move on haha.
13725034:Forcillo said:It's not that I'm complaining about the low light on the gh5, it's that I think it would be a great addition to the line for people already invested in the gh system if they want to pick up a b cam or shoot a low light scene to match with the rest of their film, or rent ff cine lenses. It would make it a far more versatile system and make it more appealing to people that want to be able to shoot more stuff and not be constricted to well-lit situations. I think the gh5 is an amazing camera but having a complement in the system would be awesome as well.

13725112:finnolydorb said:how is full frame not better? It wouldnt necessarily improve the gh line because they would become more expensive, but full frame definitely is better if money is no object.
13725131:Forcillo said:Not necessarily, the dof is shallower and low light is typically better but it's not an objectively better image. If it were then all the high end cinema cameras would be ff and never super 35
