PA Mountains Opening- Who's going

Anyone hitting up JFBB, Blue, or Seven Springs this weekend? I know for sure I'll be at Frost one day and will probably try to hit one of the other ones too.
 
Def hitting up blue friday, day 1 park and apparently dropping the Dreamweaver top to bottom for sidewinder and the green terrain that runs alongside central park. hyyype

Springs had almost a whole week of blowing, they stocked pilled massive amounts of snow. The mountain holds snow very well too.

Last year they did the same setup, it was epic but they did not have the park lift on so it took 20 minutes to go up a lift.
 
springs is gonna have about a mile of park, most likely 2 proper jumps, and as many jibs as I can possibly jam in there.1020308.jpeg
 
Not PA but close. HV opens Friday :) snow report is claiming 3 of our 4 express lifts will be running with like 7-10 trails and they blew snow for a park. Super hyped to get to ski Friday and then Saturday and then maybe Sunday
 
Ayyyy I'm skiing blue and jfbb too this year lmk when you're up I need friends. I don't even have my skis out east unfortunately.

My boy cam (the dude you responded to) and I will probably be there most of the day keep an eye out for 2 dudes in Arsenic hoodies. Definitely need some blue mountain homies.
 
I'll be up at springs sunday. Pretty hyped, opening alley setup is looking to be far better than anything my home hill can muster all year lmao

Sad but true. Seeing Mammoth's opening day October park be arguably better than our mid season, full park killed me inside. That being said hoping to get to Springs soon but we'll see

Do you go to liberty? Imo the only parks in PA that are really worth it are 7 Springs, JFBB (back in their prime, last year their parks sucked now that they’re owned by vail), bear creek, and blue mountain.

I’ve never heard anything great about liberty or round top, but I’ve also never been

I have never been to Liberty. This winter will be my first taste of PA skiing. I’m holding out hope that Liberty is going to be some sort of hidden gem (unlikely). It also helps that it is only about 15 minutes from my college.

Bro if you’re looking for people to ski with, I’ll be at liberty quite a bit this year since i’m going to school pretty close.

Liberty is ok, the park is a lot more snowboard oriented. Not really any huge features anymore, and they never turned the jbar on last year. But still decent for small jibby stuff. Roundtop is a lot better if you’re willing to travel a little further.

Landed my first ever blind 450 today which was nuts. I also chose the z tube to land my first back swap haha. That thing is absolutely amazing. I am jealous of yall.

Bear Creek and Blue Mountain are definitely the best parks in the poconos as of rn
 
I am on the park staff at Blue Mt, the set up for opening weekend was pretty rad. We did what we could with the snow we had. 9 features are in on come around park, more than half of them are low grade and easy to hike.

In the future I’ll make a thread and post pictures of the rebuilds and new features that go in. Keep y’all updated!

It was honestly a madhouse since every dipfuck and their cousin wanted to ski in between me filming right by the lip, and whoever was hitting the rail, and then smack the skier in the landing. Absolute fucking idiots, I usually don’t get pissed but chewed a handful of em out pretty bad.
