Hope for a cool winter in SoCal then. The weather down there has a huge impact on Mammoth's tourism, maybe even more so than Mammoth's own marketing. Since the majority of the tourism is from LA/OC/SD, if it's warm down there, they aren't thinking of snow. If it rains down there and it's at all chilly, that's when Mammoth does well.
That being said, the temps have been dipping into the 30's. The temps are already doing better than they were last year at this time. Even if we only got as much snow as last year, if the temps stayed down, we'd still be fine. Last year it was the warm weather that killed us.
I want one 78 degree day once I'm back to go cliff jumping and then I want every other day to be nice and cold until May.
