what is up with skiers making edits in British Columbia suddenly feeling like they need to have native american music in their edit? JNilla is not the first to do this. Don't tell me it's something about "feeling connected to the land" or "respect" or whatever, cause it's not like some indigenous chief in BC is watching ON3P5 right now and being like "hey! these guys totally get us and understand our culture!"
I think people should use whatever music they want, but it's weird how there is a connection between using native american chanting with footage from BC specifically

Besides that, I don’t understand what there is to be upset about? Music is art is expression is communication, I don’t think it is “wrong” to embrace stuff like that from other cultures if it is inspiring to a person or project. Building new ideas or new takes from art out of context... What do you think?

I expected it to be like color with a lot of b roll but some heavy clips at the end or a least one segment w some bangers but it never came. I guess I get that it is more about the cinematography and editing in this specific vid but wish there was just one part with some insane mind bending clips like on3p 3. I don't mean to hate it was tight but just not enough
