Olympic Halfpipe Skiiing (Make it Happen)

Even if it won't that's no excuse not to try and then the IOC will recognize next time (2014) that halfpipe skiing has the support it needs to become an olympic sport.
 
Do you really think that having skiing halfpipe an olympic event is a completely positive thing for the sport? I guess I just don't see it doing anything along lines of progression of pipe skiing.
 
I just say, why couldnt it be there? The Venue is used by only one other sport, why not utilize it for another sport and more revanue?
 
I've been pushing this for awhile now. The last Olympics was pretty much a joke withh all the Hype on snowboarding in the Olympics. I could'nt believe that that Linzy chick from the US snowboard team blew the gold... not even being able to pull off a straight air. I just wonder what Sarah Burke would have actually landed...Or for that matter what Dumont or Tanner would have busted infront of milions. Freeride skiings time has come!

In 2010 the world should know what is really happening up here in the mountains...and not leave it up to some marketing wiz from Visa to tell em'!
