How tf did evan fly 70+ feet straight to the back and get up like he wasn't even winded??? I know for a fact he couldn't breathe for a hot minute, what a beast
 
Also was anyone even counting the number of NBDs that just went down? I swear almost everyone pulled 1-2 new tricks out of their ass

Yup. I think a dub 19 and a dub 21 are more similar as tricks than trip 19 and nb dub 19.

Feel bad for him as he is probably quite shook after his last bail - I really hope he isn't injured, let alone having to clear his mind so he is focused for slope tomorrow. But as long as he didn't hurt himself, I have some proper respect for him to step down from the rest of the comp tonight. Sometimes you just gotta fold em.

Snowboarders crashing left and right. This is insane, I think there’s only been like 5 people who actually landed their tricks

They look like they have regressed from last year sadly. Last year there were four dudes dropping quads, almost all had an 1800 of some sort.

I hate to say it but this is really not entertaining. Disappointment hit after hit. It’s such a shame cuz I remember having a blast watching snowboard big air last year, wtf happened????

They're gonna have to make some rule changes. Idk what but you need a way to distinguish between what's a similar trick and what's not.

Yeah to go back for more after that first hit is wild to begin with. Then he gets rekt on the second one. I'd have been out after the first one.

For sure dude. I’m not saying he wasn’t scored unfairly, but the robbery wasn’t from his “quad”, it was from his nb trip 19 exactly as you said. Only reason I agree with Ahall on top is because of worlds first bias but other than that I personally had a wildly different 2 and 3 than the judges. I don’t really mind tho, it was an insane contest and so much consistency from the athletes. Very pleased with everything but the judging, but what’s x games without questionable judging anyways lol

For sure, Double vs triple is way more significant than adding a 180. That ruling makes no sense IMO

why hasn’t anyone been talking about ahalls dub 9 that was essentially cork 7 to cork 1???? Did I dream that? Was it cork 5 to sw 3? if I saw that right it must be a NBD

If you look carefully, the landing was bombed out in the middle. A few guys stuck landings and then went head over heels. Parrot realized he needed to send it to the right to avoid the bomb holes. I think it was holding the snowboarders back a bit. I think it was a super poppy jump too and it was throwing skiers and snowboarders off alike

It’s supposed to be, they’re scrambling a bit this year since XGames isn’t planned. Also being non profit means they can’t afford to be organized and have a functional website.
 
Someone look me in the face tell me that Andri Ragettli outskied Max Moffat today. LOL.

Max out there skiing in cursive looking flawless, flowy and effortless with creativity and a unique line and crazy trick selection.

Andri out there like he’s counting the “and, 1 2 3 4” beat in his head trying to do a goddamn 2 step.
