I know it's still early, but im hyped for preseason. Is tyrol for sure doing this again? Who else plans on attending and is pumped?

holy shit dude thank you for making this thread, i was bumping pre season threads all last night
but i live like 20 minutes from tyrol so i'll be there for sure!!! so fuckin stoked, only like a month or two away. all the geese are leaving, and some trees are starting to loose their leaves WHHHHOOO also school and football season started...these are all good signs my friend

Yeah Tyrol always opens up for hiking before any other hills around. I can't wait. If they open the same time they did last year (let's cross our fingers) skiing is only 6 weeks away!!!

awwww shit tommy 2step (twostep, tustep, toostep, ?)with some real talk. I've decided on LaDuke for the name. And i'm currently gettin ignant in garageband.... Making a beat for another track. lol

Sooooo Stoked! Early season Tyrol is one of the most fun times of the season because everyone is super jacked about skiing and fun times are had by all!!!

Don't forget about the Snickers and Twix... I forgot the kid I'm supposed to vote for. Not that I was going to vote anyway... free candy is always good.

damn, not bad, hopefully they get that shit goin early again. its been pretty mild lately, so hopefully it can get colder in time. i always check the accuweather 15 day forcast lol.

Hell yeah man! A bunch of Cascade shredders copped Tyrol passes this year... Cascade's management has put the park very low on their list of priorities and we are sick of it.

I hope Tyrol's managment knows about this thread and how many people are stoked that they care enough to put effort into preseason snowmaking. They are true supporters of snowsports and their riders, not cowards to the insurance companies and slaves to their bank account. They must make bank from preseason ticket sales!

yeah they probably make a descent amount, i mean 10$ for a ticket. Although im not sure how expensive it is to make snow. I checked the weather for some upcoming nights, and its already getting in the low 30's :)

Plus when people are only hiking they dont have to pay for electricity to run the lift or the lifties themselves, awsome business model, more midwest hill should learn from this example, including the late season event too. We (newschoolers members) are all the future of this sport and some will be managers of ski areas in the future, Tyrol knows how to create future customers. when i have children they will for damn sure have a carpet setup, i hope not for a long-while though!

hahaha that was an awesome day. When you eat shit hard in the last clip I was standing right behind you with the tan pants/white T/black helmet.

when did they open for hiking last year? I checked the site and the first day of the season is something around november 20ish...i hope this isnt how long were gonna have to wait

word in the street is possibly a few rails set up in snow at the resale, which is this sunday.. we just need weather to cooperate!

yeah i don't think so JERK
im not sure if it's gonna get cold enough, although it is supposed to snow a little tomorrow morning!

halloween weekend would be "this" weekend. My prediction is that Tyrol will be open November 7th. And if not then, then sometime during the week after that like the 11th.
