Official Tahoe Thread

Camp richardson has a pretty nice beach and bar/restaurant. You cant bring drinks from the bar onto the beach but you can bring your own drinks onto the beach. I would highly recommend it but it is getting pretty late into the season to go though

SNOW IN TAHOE. my house on west shore got around a foot and a few inches since monday morning. whatt does the rest of the lake look like?

Would love to make it Thursday, just can't see it happening. Boreal at the weekend is a definite option though. Fingers crossed.

What the roads like? Seems like we've had a decent dumping up there.

yeah, as long as you know how to drive in the snow you'll be fine. just watch out for the bay cats slippin and slidin all over the place

Anyone want to go skiing in south lake friday or this weekend??! I want to build a nice booter or just do a hike and shred some pow, up for any urban as well. Also do any resorts around here have preseason jib yards or rails set up and stuff like that?

Deciding whether I should give my shift to a friend on saturday so I can go ski at Boreal. If I do this I only get 11 hours these week. Do you think it's worth it?

ay someone post a pic tomorrow of the setup! i'll come up from the bay to do some free photoshoots if anyones interested!

next friday. But they are thinking of doing some sort of free opening on thursday for 500 skiers and 1000 sightseers on the gondola and tamarack.

I was, they comped our tickets, but we were stuck on the lift for like 45 minutes. I almost had to pee off the lift haha

Where do you see this?

from theseirra website. Maybe if you have a squaw alpine pass you can ski seirra all year.

Squaw is opening this weekend!! they've been blowing snow like crazy.

and theres a storm brewing on the horizon that should dump 6-7 inches at lake level, and upwards of 2 feet on the creat

Yeah Tahoe super pass can shred sierra every day except blackouts and saturdays. sierra passes are good at squalpine early season and late season. Im stoked, considering i got one of my more favorite mountains in Tahoe added onto my pass....for free.

when upper mountain opens, then a week, there should be a park, but i'm yet to start this season.

on my original note, i skied THE PATCH today. and it was incredible!

So right now there's no park at Squaw? Trying to figure out if its worth it to make a run up the hill tomorrow or Sunday.

its not. it fucking sucked when i went. though i went 4 months post op from ACL surgery but still, i thought it was fucking lame and they ripped everyone off by not letting us know that it was lame
