Official Stevens Pass Thread

being in a basement all damn day is lovely, too. Not seeing the sun, not feeling the crisp air, not eating food.

At least it might be nice over the weekend?

Yeah man I agree. Definitely was a good choice to skip school. Was some pretty good stuff off of 7th down by the cliffs going down towards to Skyline.

I lost a Level glove (the right one) in the parking lot last sunday the 7th. If anyone found it I'm dieing to get it back. I'm kicking my self right now. I never lose my shit, but the first time I get a nice pair of gloves I lose one... so pissed.

piss point was epic.

as for slides i was talking to a patroler he said the danger is only high because if the amount, but it blended together perfectly with the ice then wet then dry

The last two days were absolutely epic until this afternoon when I might have blown my knee out. Sucks ass man, im hobbling around on crutches and it hurts like a son of a bitch and stiff as fuck. Some of ya'll might of seen me, I was the guy in green pants and yellow jacket under Skyline in the moguls screaming and clutching my knee today about four or so. I tomahawked about three times and heard a pop and now im all fucked up.

wow dude that sounds fucking nuts, I hope you get well soon. this wouldnt happen to be on video is it because thats a bad ass fall

whos gonna be up today? i am, look for the tall kid in all brown on EPs with a black bern baker and royal blue crowbars

Shit I wish it was. I am shitting my pants wondering if I am ever gonna be able to ski again this season and if there's any structural damage.

So... this is my friend Chris. His bindings like to randomly release because they hate him.

BTW, last night was pretty fun too, just stupidly cold and windy. I loved getting fresh tracks every run since it was snowing and blowing around so much. Night pow is ammazing.

... and come to think of it, the weather looks like it could be condusive to allow a BC booter session this weekend. Anyone wanna build one Sunday in Holiday Bowl?

Hells yeah, that was a great morning. Too bad we only got half dialed on the park, but that fucking race course was BAAAAAAAAAALLLAAAA.

Monday and Wednesday will be my next days at the pass, and since its spring it'll cost only $2 (or a PBR) for a chance to ride with me.

Thanks to all the well wishers at the top of Ty yesterday morning. Will pulled me up the hills and I pulled him down the nasty ice death on the backside to a third place finish in the Big Mtn battle.

Will, my left leg is sore this morning. Does that make you happy?

its fairly disheartening to listen to david for two hours "dude you need to turn on the jets and ski faster". even more heartbreaking was that chris davenport wasn't there. luckily they gave us free recovery beverages:

Its fucking puking up there. Will someone please find a way to delay my finals? OR JUST FUCKING KILL ME, HATE MY LIFE~

yesterday was SOOOO sick. 16'' in 24 hrs, prolly another 6-7'' between 830-1230. absolutely nuking. skiing waist deep or more all day, faceshots all day, can't even imagine how today is...

yeah today was very good. finally got enough to cover up the ice that was everywhere. snow was soft enough that even the tracked out areas i was just busting straight through shit on the chopsticks. i have decided those are the most fun skis ever. ill be up there tomorrow too. chopsticks with camo pants and a brown jacket holler if you see me

Chest to neck deep in the trees skiers left of Southern Cross today. Got kinda wet and heavy in some spots, and avy debris kinda killed the fun under Cowboy. But fresh tracks on Aquarius again, hehehehehe.

List of achievements:

- Aired bigger off the 40' near Tye (probably my record, was in the air soooooo long)

- Stomped a number of 1's into pow

- Straightlined the chute near Annies again

- Scared the bejesus out of myself bombing a narrow ass tree lined chute under 7th

- Aired a new 20' I've always seen but never been able to locate from the top thats between the 40' and Tye rock, drops you under the chair... didnt quite land it.

- Snow snakes were out to get me today: two tip-dive to rideaway frontflips, one just when I was skiing chop under 7th, haha.

- Grace Lakes, deep, but a lot of work to get out of.

All in all, a terrific day, maybe even better than last weekend. Also, Jeronimo's for the first time didnt feel big/rockered enough.
