Official NFL 2012-2013 Thread

Not if his knee is going to give out every time he stops or cuts too hard, just saying he might never be the same and that would suck.

dangeruss!

proud of those guys today! However, I feel for Griffin, never wish for something like that to happen to a class act guy.

Stoked for Sunday!

oh shut the fuck up. hawks have had so many bad call against them. And i dont even know what you are talking about. A few missed PIs against both teams is about all i saw.

seattle has zero right to complain about officiating ever again.

that being said, rgiii's determination is what lost us the game. if he had gone out earlier in the game we coulda had a shot.

all of this is irrelevant tho, denver will win the superbowl.

The refs have been great this weekend hardly set a foot wrong. (Now the refs in college basketball over the weekend is a different case motherfuckers...)

Seahawks were the easy play especially once RG3 was clearly hurt. I loaded up at halftime and threw down an extra nickle on them. Should have taken the under too while I was at it.

There was nothing wrong with the officiating in that game. The better team won. RGIII was hurt from the start and gradually got worse and worse. The Skins didn't do anything on offense and Wilson and Lynch did exactly what they always do. Had the Seahawks bothered to even show up for the first quarter it would have been even worse.

And whoever maintains that field should be fined, there's no excuse.

They've invested enough money into their QB, time to invest in some

turf.

seahawks are becoming my favourite nfc team. they play a nice style of defense and i cant say enough of how big a fan i am of marshawn lynch.

and the hobbit is also a favourite. really like how unrattled he looked when they were down 14 zip and how he looked pretty much the same when the game was won.

they have a good chance of beating the falcons in my opinion. i think they match up VERY well in general and esepcially with browner/sherman covering white/jones. and they have a solid dline that can bring pressure and stop the run with 4 people. furthermore, the falcons werent exceptionally impressive in stopping the run, so i really think the seahawks could advance to the NFC championship game.

and the pats have to give it to the texans one more time, which will be tough, these rematches are tough games usually. broncos/ravens should be a cakewalk for the broncos, even though i dont like them. the ravens are just not impressive, idk why.

fortys/packers will be a good game but i think that the niners will survive. they will not have to worry about the packers run game given their strength against the run. additionally, they can bring the heat and rodgers, to me, isnt a world beater when he doesnt have a run game and defensive help.

cereal? what about that obvious pass interference on Golden Tate uncalled? whatever...hawks will never get credit for anything that they do, ever.

its a non-reviewable thing. you can call this a simultaneous catch. i dont say a lot of people would do it, but its a fucking unlucky situation for a replacement ref to be in. both teams made the playoffs well-deservedly, time to move on.

The packers made it to playoffs anyway! wtf?

Nevermind the steelers superbowl game, because we all know that a single, hard-to-tell call during the regular season getting called our way makes up for a lost superbowl...

whatever, haters going to fucking hate. hawks are rockstars.

That was what two months ago, who gives a fuck. Either way the hawks and greenbay were in the playoffs.

RG3 Didn't loose you the game. The determination to keep him in just shows how over-reliant the Redskins are on him. Cousin's performance was pathetic when he came in anyways.

Also, 24 points unanswered AT HOME? Give me a break. That's pathetic, even with RG3's fucked up knee being taken into consideration.

i have watched almost every single redskins play of this season. rgiii had by far his worst performance all season today. he was injured early on and was not effective at all. cousins could have produced some points in the 2nd half if given the chance.

did you watch cousins go in and get the win vs baltimore at the last minute or his win at clevland. kid can play and woulda given the skins a better shot at the w. that being said who cares, its a moot point, cant wait for next season. skins got a bright future

i agree in parts with it. cousins basically took over when it was already a two possession game. the whole option stuff gets thrown out of the window. so have him play a whole half couldve lead to a rhythm for the offense it never had after these two good initial drives.

and i think it was just horseshit to risk such a young and promising player. obviously, his knee was fucked up, and noone knows what an acl tear (or another severe injury) will do to his career. it looks like its not too bad from what i heard, but the coaches really should have played RGIII. but thats not his decision to make.

agree with this for sure. imo rgiii was the skins only shot against the hawks, that's the basis of my comment.

Somebody is too young or too fucking stupid to remember Superbowl XL. That call in the Green Bay game is a little insignificant bitch compared to the shit that happened that day.

anyway,

well, just to be clear, I'd say two man since they have morris, but i was just responding to your words, not mine.

and sorry for the triple post, but i did feel bad for RGIII when he went down. im happy to see him actually walk off on his own-- that was pretty scary for a minute. still is.

This is hurt soo much.

that was still such an exciting game up until the end. seahawks definitely deserved that one, coulda easily been 31 or 38-14. if lynch didnt fumble and if wilson connected on some long throws it coulda been blown open. but props to the skins d they played tough.

The Redskins were outplayed it is that simple. I know i am bias but the Seahawks were the better team, so leave the refs and all that bullshit out.

I beleive that if a team relies that heavily on one player, they shouldn't be in the playoffs. Also he doesn't play defense so the 24 points have nothing to do with him

Well actually it makes the offense as a whole worse, which means they don't make first downs, which gives the other teams offense more time on the field, which if you see where I'm going, allows the other team to score points.

you know how I know you don't watch the seahawks? thomas, sherman, wilson, browner, clemons, byrant, washington, chancellor, lynch, tate, wright, rice, baldwin, unger, okung

5 of which are pro bowlers

I said the same thing. And scarier, thats what that field looks like in early september, not just late season where its been beat up all year.

As a Bears fan, I officially want people to stop giving us crap about Soldier Field, our turf looks like a manicured golf course compared to the Skins.

As a Pats fan, Seattle honestly scares the shit out of me right now. That said, they didn't look that great against the Skins today.

agreed. there were a few critical mistakes that made the Hawks look like less of a team than I believe they can be --like Lynch's fumble inside the 1 yard line, Russell scrambling and not seeing an open Rice down field, the sack that put us out of field goal range, etc. It wasn't a stellar game for the seahawks.

Yeah I agree. However, take away the fumble on the 1-yard line thats 7 points gone, as well as Russ overthrowing Baldwin in the end zone. I do think we are a force to reckon with though, so much momentum.

Go Seattle!

no i just dont give a shit about the 05/06 season buddy. we lost to you that year in the wild card with idk probably mark brunell at qb. who gives a shit.

that gif was this season. with that gift the seahawks were able to be 11-5 not 10-6. now i do not know what the wild card situation exactly but there were other 10-6 teams so that call was pretty damn important.

You guys did play like shit in the first half of that game though. You have to agree. 8 sacks on Rogers Really? In my opinion Seahawks deserved it.

It wouldn't have made a difference. It arguably cost Green Bay their bye, but realistically Seattle did GB a favour late in the year by beating San Fran, which allowed GB the shot at the bye in week 17 and they failed to execute. It was in their hands.

Fail mary really didn't affect anything in the end.
