my other point was that its not enough for the media to just leave these guys as good football players, they have to build them up into things they aren't. if they aren't a complete idiot, then they're brilliant. if they tell a joke they're the funniest guy ever.

just swapped out my Houston Defense (vs. P. Manning) in place of Arizona Defense (vs. Vick).hopefully this pans out.

plus it frees me up to root for the Broncos without compromise

From the looks of this shitty little ESPN app, I'm assuming the lions are off to a better start than last week. Already a forced fumble/recovery. D's playing strong.
 
Dolphins make me sad. Oh so very sad. Build up my hopes then crush them. Carpenter misses a kick he has to complete and Philbin blows it by trying to ice the game.
 
Pull off the OT that is. Still a good game despite the loss. Seems we've been trying to get our shit together in the 2nd half.
 
my extended family has been Vikings season ticket holders for over 50 years, today was my last game with those seats. Was expecting a loss but instead got to watch them take down the 49ers from 50 yd line. Stoke!

Lol.. Steelers fans must hate Oakland even more after that one... What is that.. 4 out of the last 5 meetings have gone to the Raiders? Good win. Still not confident in this team coming back and getting back in the playoffs this year - even less than last year for plenty of reasons. Good to see penalties have continued to be avoided this season (that said, with these refs, who the fuck knows what a penalty is anymore). good disciplined win nevertheless. Running game needs to pick it up though. Other than McFadden's long blast, it was a pretty weak ground effort.

hit on DHB was so scary though... How that wasn't called a penalty for helmet to helmet is beyond me. Beside the point though.. everyone has to be worried after such a hit and injury...

On to fucking Denver now...
 
as a raider fan what pisses me off the most is that we can run with teams such as pittsburgh but get shut down by shit teams like miami. but great game today holy crap i was stoked
 
I might hate Miami a bunch, but I'll trade a loss to the fish for a win over the Steelers any day.

Fuck this. Since when is the Pats D good? And we need to put way more pressure on Brady. Ravens D looks like shit. Flacco has made some really dumb throws as well, and is lucky to have only thrown one interception.
 
i had the patriots d in for fantasy and they lost me the game pretty much.

still these refs are shitting themselves
 
chris collinsworth is doing the color which makes it seem worse. he just tried to question whether a penalty should have been called because he couldn't tell the difference between 5 and 10 yards from the line of scrimmage. harbaugh deserved his penalty and the timeout excuse was a joke.
 
This game is crazy exciting. Collinsworth said due to soft reffing this is like a classic NFL game. Pretty cool to see these guys going at it. Would be a great game to be at, did you hear the fans chanting BULL SHIT? This drive is going to be great!
