AND THEN COMPLETELY REDEEM THEMSELVES!

Fucking cinci vs ravens game was such bs. Where the fuck was the horse caller call and instead they called fucking grounding? Also denying that fucking touch down was fucking horse shit, needed indisputable video evidence to overturn that call and only 1 video angle showed a loss of possession while the other 5 or so showed a catch.

If we had AJ green would of been a different game.

So pissed right now could of been the bengals game. Greshams touchdown shouldn't of been overturned plain and simple. Had the refs made the right call we could of kicked the field goal after the intentional grounding call (also bs) and tied the game for overtime. I will be so pissed if the bengals don't make the playoffs they've proven they can play against the big guys and are playoff contenders.

Um, the refs revoked a touch down and then ignored a horse caller call at the goal line... If either one of those plays were called in favor of the bengals it would of been OT for sure... To say they deserved the W more than the Bengals is completely untrue.

While the horse collar was a blown call the O line was getting worked by the Ravens. I still don't see them scoring even if that penalty was called

O and I would just like to point out on the Ravens last touch down of the game where Falco throws it deep to someone and he kind of juggles the ball in end zone showing he may not have had possession when he placed both feet in bonds they spend less than a second reviewing it. But Gresham's td which had idk 5 different camera angles supporting it was a catch gets reviewed for 5 minutes, wtf is up with that.

You can't just say that something like that, the entire mentality of the game would of been changed if that horse collar was called. Instead of it being automatic first down and half the distance to the goal, it ended up being a 10 yard penalty and automatic loss of down. So yea true the Bengals O line blew it no doubt, but you can't compare the two situations to one another when one is 3rd down and like 20+ yards to a touch down, and the other is 1st down and like 5 yards to score... Completely different extreme situations, and I am sure both teams in particular the Bengals O-line and Raven's D-line would of played way differently.

LOL the bengals O-line was not getting worked, they simply lost the battle on the last possession, which sadly the ravens only rushed 3 men on those last plays. And how can you say you dont see them scoring, the bengals punched in two td's from inside the 10 yd line with benson.

Overall the game should of gone to OT and who knows who would of won. The gresham td should have counted and the bengals could of kicked an easy fg to tie it up.

Last 3 plays of the game were: Near sack to intentional grounding but blown horse collar call, next play flushed out and thrown away, and the last play was a sack in the RE dominated the LT and was in the backfield in literally 3 seconds. Also on the last play Dalton literally walked into the sack, completely unaware of the pressure

Exactly, you just proved my point they didn't dominate the whole game, just the last few plays. And how can Dalton expect a man coming that fast on a 3 man rush? He cant.

Dude for the last time you can't compare the two situations. Seriously what do you think is easier 3rd down and fucking 20 + yards, or 1st down and 5 yards? Fuck if it was the latter Dalton doesn't even need to fucking throw the ball he just hands it off to beneson and most likely a TD, since you know we had 4 tries to do it...

Like you seriously cannot expect what the O line did on 3rd and 20 to have happened on 1st and 5...

Downs don't matter when there is 14 seconds left with no timeouts and you're down by a touchdown. The left tackle got worked on a 3 man rush and Dalton did not have much time on any of those three plays. They wouldn't have ran it because they had very little time and still had more than 5 yards to go to the endzone

I am pretty sure we had two time outs or something... or at least one. Also it was more like 40 seconds left and not 14.... So yes downs matter a lot.

If you had 2 timeouts than I blame coaching for not using them effectively. Run a draw play after the penalty, give yourself a chance

Actually that's exactly what we did, we used our second time out after the grounding call and yes we blew it. But I am just saying if we had the horse collar call which you admit should of been called, we would of had 40 seconds left and two time outs 1st down and 5 yards to score. You still think the result would of been the same?

But it doesn't matter cause we lost, bad officiating is part of the game, but idk what your trying to argue here, clearly to anyone unbiased the game should of went to overtime. And depending on whose view point you look at I personally believe the Bengals should of won the game and not even went to OT. I believe they deserved the previous TD, and also believe they would of scored had the horse collar been called.

I'm not disputing the bad officiating, I mean I watch Raider games every week so I know bad calls. it definitely should have been a penalty. I'm just saying without AJ Green and the way the raven's D plays and based on how the D line beat the O line on the last three plays I don't think they would have scored

I mean you can believe whatever you want, and no one is right here because were never going to know. But what you have to realize is the mentality of the D line for the ravens would of been completely different had that foul been called. They never would of gotten those last three plays, and instead they would be thinking "fuck man we just blew a huge fucking personal foul and gave them an automatic first down with only 5 yards to score with 40 seconds and two time outs". Like because that call resulted in such two extreme situations is why we are having this dispute. Obviously the way the game played out, the D-line was going into those last two plays super pumped. They just pretty much sacked our QB for 10 yards (with the grounding call) and obviously they built on that and won the game fair and square those last possessions. But you cannot simply use that as evidence to predict how the game would of ended if the horse collar would of been called because all the variables would of been changed drastically, resulting in a entirely new situation.

The horsecollar and intentional grounding would have offset. It would not have been first down and they would not have gotten half the distance to the goal.

U see I was thinking that too, but idk if it really works out that way... Like I would think just by using common sense that if the horse collar directly caused the player to ground the ball wouldn't the cause take precedence and cause the grounding call to be completely ignored? I mean I really don't know, and I know when you have two fouls like that it would offset each other, but idk how it would play if one foul caused the other...

Like what if a flag was thrown first for the horse collar cause the ref saw it then Dalton grounded the ball would it still play out the same way?

If the Eagles only win against other NFC East teams for the rest of the season I would be ok with that. I love the look on Romo and Manning's faces after they lose to the Eagles. They even suck this year.

big night tonight, chiefs at pats on monday night football followed by KU vs Georgetown at Midnight from Hawaii, could either be a great night or a miserable one

has nobody watched the nfl.com highlights of the cincy/ravens game?

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS HORSECOLLAR ON A QB IN THE POCKET.

so no blown call

and i am not a TB fan, but that was awesome, packers play a bit lazy from time to time

was a good first half but the pick at the end of it sealed it. chiefs were pumped for this game, but now its so over its not even funny

so after all the bye weeks, an update:

AFC EAST:

the pats will take it, end of question. the bills ran out of gas a few games ago. dolphins will win some more games and the jets are lucky if they end up anywhere close to a wild-card berth.

AFC NORTH:

actually i think that both the steelers and ravens are not as good as most people say. ravens lost two times in the ugliest of ways against low-5 teams. and something is wrong with the steelers, idk what but this division is up for grabs with cincy still in the race and even cleveland wont tank as they are only 3 games away from the division lead.

AFC SOUTH:

oh my god, the colts are awful. and it wouldnt be a lot better with manning. noone is that important to a team. they made bad personnel decisions across the board and have incredibly bad depth all over the field. the time of the jaguars will come if gabbert can improve, but not this year, they probably wont win a lot of games either. texans will win this division if leinart isnt fucking up completely, but watch out for the titans.

AFC WEST:

as much as i hate to say it, the raiders are the best team right now. the broncos look hot and all, but this wont work for another 4-5 games this year. chiefs are done, they look lost and had it tough with injuries. 4 of the 6 chiefs players i knew by name before the season are out. chargers have now three games they have to and should win (broncos, jaguars, bills) while oakland plays chicago, red-hot miami and the packers. i would say this division comes down to wk 17, OAK vs SD.

NFC EAST:

giants have some tough games ahead, i would be surprised if they go over 9-7. same with the cowboys, they are a little inconsistent, although they have the best chances right now. if the eagles beat the pats somehow, some way, they beat the seahaws next and we will see how many wins the cowboys and the giants have at that point.

NFC NORTH:

packers look good, but they wont repeat. this one-game at a time thing is made for upsets and its just so tough to repeat. lions also look a little flat the last few games and the bears lost cutler. this division will change a lot over the last 6 games.

NFC SOUTH:

saints will win it. falcons are not a good team and TB is too far away. panthers could have 4-5 wins more if beason was healthy and a better red-zone offense.

NFC WEST:

49ers are up and away, no wild card is coming of this division, so what else? rams are disappointing, looked like they have promise last year, cardinals have to solve their QB issue somehow and the seahawks could end up being a legit team next year for some reason.

playoffs, with some bold predictions, it would be senseless to just take the current playoff picture and say thats how it ends.

AFC

1 pats

2 texans

3 ravens

4 chargers

WC steelers/bengals

WC titans

NFC

1 packers

2 49ers

3 saints

4 eagles

WC bears

WC falcons/cowboys

No way the Bears will make the playoffs without Cutler.

I think that the wild card will be the Lions and Falcons with the Cowboys winning the NFC East.

Otherwise I completely agree with your picks

overall, i think flacco is not a top 10 QB and this is hurting them, now that their defense is NOT AS dominant.

they remind me a little bit of the jets. both teams wanted to hand the offenses to their QBs because both teams were scrutinized for not doing so in recent years. and both QBs have, until now, demonstrated that they are NOT elite-level passers to build a pass-first offense around.

and both teams had to go back to their run-game in order to salvate their season.

i am not sayin flacco is as bad as sanchez, but he is no brady, no brees and no rodgers.

can i just say that being a redskins fan is soooooooooooooooooooo hard.

when you end week 4 3-1, you dont expect to fall to 3-7.

we have changed QB something like 23 times in the last 2 decades.... yes thats more qbs than seasons.

WHO THE FUCK CAN NOT FIND A SINGLE QB WORTH A DAMN IN 20 YEARS!??!?!!?!! THE REDSKSINS THATs FUCKING WHO!!!

Then you have our defense...... 8 years ago, the redskins Defense began a 5 year streak that put them in them amongst the top 5..... THEN WE SWITCHED TO THE 3-4, BECAUSE OF COURSE THE REDSKINS HAD TO RUIN THE ONLY GOOD PART OF THEIR TEAM!!!!!

Then there is rex grossman... snyder "wait he has a super bowl ring" common sense "yes, but he leads the FUCKING WORLD IN INTERCEPTIONS!!!!!!!!" snyder "the fuck do i care, he'll make my team money that i can waste on old ass useless player e.g. 106 mill for haynesworth."

pause to collect myself

DAN FUCKING SNYDER, THAT RICH FUCKING PEICE OF SHIT!!!!!!! on a side note his daughter went to my school /claim. i raped her face....TWICE! not really.

Even though that's what they basically called against the Raiders on Sunday on Minnesota's first TD drive?

They called it Personal Foul, roughing the passer, taking him down by the horsecollar... lol. And he was in the pocket.
