ugh, even when you watch the games you're still wrong, they threw the flag for a blow to the head, not horse collar. the coach ran his mouth about this and after he realized he was wrong he turned into a total bitch yesterday and tried to back pedal out of it.
 
My bad... at the time I guess I remembered the announcers were talking about a facemask or a horsecollar or something... I'm now remembering that that was definitely a blow to the head call... (which was still bullshit lol)

...and Hue Jackson was bitching about refs spending too much time talking to the coaches on the other side of the field after calls if I'm not mistaken - either way, he has a right to be pissed, and it goes beyond any case of the refs jobbing his team - The Raiders have been undisciplined as per-usual as it is... and because of that, they, and him get no benefit of the doubt when you put their history into context.
 
not kidding you. stafford will have 4 tds against a really weak packers secondary. to me it all comes dowb to lions D line hurrying and hitting rodgers all day long.
 
Seriously you picked the fucking Chargers? SD season is over. It was over when they got fucking raped by Oakland. Second the Broncos just beat the Raiders, Kansas City, and the NYJ. And yes the Broncos option will work for the remainder of the season. We play games against MIN, who is god awful. A game against the Bears who just lost Cutler so they are done. Then we have one against SD and Kansas City which we will win. Only game we may loose for the rest of the season is against New England, and they arent even that good.

And no Im not saying that the Broncos will win because of Tebow. They will win because their defense is playing lights out football right now. Yeah get at me.
 
i have to admit that i am a SD fan. and i wouldnt pick them if there was the chance that wk 17 will be a win-and-youre-in game against OAK.

broncos wont stay in too many games with this offense. they wont keep all opponents to under 15 points (especially the pats). chiefs have (even without the injuries) a tough schedule.

 
thats debatable. as i said. against the chargers and pats, they wont be able to keep these teams from scoring in the 20+ range.

and i have no clue how this offense should do that. really, the jets game was more about the pick six by one of the worst QBs in the league than about tebow and solid D play. 7 points in such a game? HUUGE.

but they will need defensive scores or ST plays to stay in games against good offenses.
 
ya i agree we need to put up twice as many points and defense to keep playing good D for us to be a serious super bowl contender! But it's possible

but we'll just play it week to week and see what happens, as for this week. So far tebow is the 4th quarter come back kid, and philip rivers is the 4 quarter interception king this year.

so we'll see what happens
 
True. I mean, Who's gonna be covering megatron and all the receivers with their weak secondary? I love how everybody thinks we don't stand a chance.
 
I was sitting there watching NFL live today, and did a little celebration when I found out the Bears didn't sign him. I think he has potential, but I did NOT want the neckbeard back in Chicago.
 
Yea apparently Dallas was going to block him from going to Chicago. He sucks but he'll at least give us a chance to play spoiler for a few teams this year until Cassel gets back, not like he's much better. Plus we got him for cheap, only cost us our first and second round picks for the next 2 years, oh wait.

On paper this could be one of the best Thanksgivings for football in a while:

GB -6

DAL -7

BAL -3.5
 
lions are done. they couldnt replace best in any way and will be lucky to make the playoffs.

will be hard for them to reach 10 or even 9 wins with this style of play.
 
Stoked to see Suh finally get ejected from a game for his crap. Its not cool, and your not "just playing hard" you are playing dirty, plain and simple. Hopefully he gets fined massive amounts.
 
he will definitely be suspended for his stuff sooner or later. players dont choose you as one of the dirtiest players for no reason. its not jealousy. a lot of good D-tackles get respect.

 
Yeah, but compare them to the teams they are up against for the Wild Card... They still played a great first half against Green Bay... things unraveled only after the half. If they can play better, I don't see how they cant at least win 2-3 games considering they have Minnesota and 2 AFC west contests.

Who knows though. At this point they may indeed be sunk.

plus, defense games don't necessarily mean theyre bad. it's been a fun game to watch thus far, despite the low score.
 
I wouldnt be surpised if someone takes at least one shot at his knees next time he does something like that. Fucking up random quarterbacks in preseason games and taking cheap shots at everyone else isn't gonna earn him a lot of respect.
 
Tyrell Suggs is a beast but I hate watching his press conference statements knowing that I'll never make as much money as someone who would otherwise be working as a bouncer, at best.
 
Raiders should be absolutely killing them... Should have at least 24 points after 3 INT's...

And Wimbley should have had a pick six... He cuts inside, instead of to the sideline, and he's clear.
 
And the Raiders should have had more time. The ref blew the whistle and called the play dead at 8 seconds when Bush went out of bounds but the clock kept running down to 5
 
Hmmm... well, I guess we're just going to field goal the Bears to death, today.

Whoever has the Polish Cannon on their fantasy team is a happy person today.
