Official Lost final season countdown

With this "evil" I'm really sensing some Pandora's Box stuff coming in...

There is one thing that still annoys me though: moving the island by pushing a large wheel...then teleporting to Afganistan. That's more stupid than time travel in my mind.
 
they REALLY need to explain that contingent...

but i liked this episode, it was ridiculously informative which is what we need. i think this season is better than the last few because they actually are digging themselves out of the hole they created
 
I should catch up on this season, im about 6 episodes behind. It's just frustrating cause I had no idea what was going on and they started just explaining whats going on instead on having actually episodes. Maybe its just me.still a good show
 
started from season1 allll over agin back in January, I havent seen the lat 5 (6 including tonight's) but i am going to watch tonight..

looking forward to the episodes after reading some of these posts :D
 
i was so stoked. and i totally called that he was in the locked closet. but anyway, i'm kind of afraid he's going to die pretty soon. regardless, i'm pretty happy he's back.

also, i follow damon lindelof (one of the executive producers/show runners) on twitter and he said that "next week the conversation will change." everyone was really excited desmond was back and tweeting about him a lot, so who knows
 
im definitely happy desmond is back, but i am confused as to his role. he wasn't on the original plane, but when this season started in the alternate story he was on the plane that didnt crash which confused me. So "locke" cares because he needs desmond to be on that flight as well so they can leave?
 
just finished watching season 3 episode 19 on hulu with lockes father. he is convinced they are all dead and in hell. i really hope that isnt the way it all ends in some limbo.

nothing really happened except desmond gets brought back into the show in one episode and tossed down a well in the next... wtf

umm they answered what the whispers were in a way..
and the two universes are starting to come together! That's why desmond hit lock with his car, he had to bring him near death in order for him to remember his alternate life.
 
yeah absolutely. and there is no way Desmond is dead on-island. did anyone see the previews for next week's episode? he's alive. also the promo was to the song in the tunnel from the original willy wonka movie. all in all it was so sick

I love this shit! Desmond being the reason for the crash; Desmond bringing everyone back together. I've stopped caring even if they don't answer every single detail, I love this deus ex machina writing when usually I abhor such plot devices.
 
holy fuck! SPOILER ALERT:

Sayid, Sun, Jin and maybe Lapidus? i'm still not sure if he's dead, i hope not. but seriously, crazy episode.
 
I know but they didnt actually show him blowing up, and remember how he came back to life last time? I bet hes still alive somehow
 
..pretty sure sayid blew up... they showed and explosion. The moment I saw Sun was stuck I knew her and Jin were going to end up drowning together. I think what Jack was saying may be right though, how "Locke" can't actually kill them himself, he has to find ways for them to kill each other. I don't know why he would have waited this long though..
the alternate universe is getting really interesting too, everyone's coming together and it seems like Jack and some of the others are starting to piece something together.. and when Locke was on the hospital bed sleeping he said "push the button".
Lastly, I wonder why Kate isn't a candidate.. at the start of the episode Witmore said he didn't care about her since she wasn't a candidate.
 
yeah, i totally saw that coming too. definitely one of, it not the saddest death scenes throughout the show though. and i totally think jack is right, and it'll be cool to see how that plays out over the next (and last) few episodes.

it's almost over :/
 
we saw her name crossed out also, he wasn't bluffing

i think 'push the button' was talking about the flight with his father because afterwards he said 'you can trust me' which is what he told his dad before the accident and it seemed to be some form of nightmare...i originally thought he was talking about the hatch but i'm pretty sure it was just the crash...or both!

so i wonder what locke's agenda is...also did anyone even attempt to save lupidus?

i thought sun was a candidate though?
 
im so excited for the episodes but i dont want it to end. i have a feeling that more main characters are going to die as well
 
my guess is they bring desmond back,and for some reason he can kill locke, but before he can do that, locke kills hurley and kate, jack and sawyer are the only ones left, all 3 pissed.
They go back to widmore, kill him after they figure out how to defeat locke,
Jack is about to sacrifice himself for the plan, but sawyer does it instead, so he dies. Desmond gets killed in the process of killing locke.
not sure whattheyre going to do with ben richard and miles though

oh yah, pretty sure Jack is going to be the new jacob
 
yeah, charlie's death was so sad too. they are definitely equal.

and about not trying to save lapidus, i think they just didn't know he was there. i'm still hoping he got out somehow and will show up at a pivotal moment
 
The shit is really hitting the fan, finally. I mean, there is 5h of Lost left, they have to kill some of the main characters.. I'm actually glad Sayid died like that, in a heroic manner. It was redemption for him. So yeah, bye bye Sun Jin and Sayid, you will be missed.

As for Frank, part of me is holding out hope that he somehow survives.

After all, we didn't see any evidence of him dying - just getting

knocked out and going under water. Who's to say that he didn't wake up

and swim out? I have to think that the writers would have given us at

least a brief shot of his dead body in the submarine if he actually died

- his character deserves more than an off-camera death, doesn't he?

Yep, I'm sad that Frank is gone - but would probably bet money that he's

not actually dead.

I think the only character that is safe and won't die is Hurley.. I'm not sure he'll become the new Jacob, Jack seems to be the favorite for that post but Hurley is just the soul of Lost and I'll bet my life he will survive.

Kate? She's already dead. There is NO CHANCE she'll survive. She's not even a candidate anymore. Before coming back to the Island, she already gave Aaron away, so there’s no way that she

could reclaim him upon return from the Island.

She’s already attempted a relationship with Jack that failed. What else

does she have in life? Yep she's dead.

Desmond, despite being my favorite lost character, will obviously die saving the survivors, and the world. A sacrifice for the good cause as Widmore told him before. Might be one of the very last scenes.

Sawyer ? bah 50/50 for him.. If he dies, it sure will be with a last "son of a bitch" hurrah :D !

in the end, I see Jack being the new Jacob and Hurley surviving with a few others.
