Wicked sorry for the double post but what I meant was that "no one dies hahaha" wink face. But theres no way that we'll never see him again. I bet he'll show up on the 2004 parallel universe aspect, considering he didn't die since the plane never crashed and he never was sent chasing after them in that universe.

my theory - which is just a theory - is that the show more than anything is about the connections between people, which is why we will see in the alternate 815 lands safely reality that all of the survivors are still connected to each other. Jack and Locke in the baggage claim, Caire and Kate in the taxi, all the key realationships will play out in the alternate world.

 
yeah but in the end they're gonna realize that the relationships and outcomes on the island in the alternate world were better than in the world where everything went normally

i'll be interested to see what claire's like with the whole infection thing, it clearly relates to jack's dad somehow and the whole jacob/jacob's friend deal because we saw her in jacob's cabin with christian last time and she was all weird and creepy
 
in the 2004 where everything goes normally, when kate was jacking that cab she looked at jack funny and jack looked back also with a funny look. its like they somehow know eachother, but at the same time they dont. maybe 1977 actually happened and in 2004 they just dont remember it vividly, but they sorta know eachother's faces?

on a side note, again, i fucking love kate
 
also when claire said aaron's name kate got a weird look. i don't think it's a faint memory, but i think parts of the alternate world strike them and they're not sure why

the jack knowing desmond thing didn't work though because they actually did meet earlier when desmond was running stairs in the stadium

that other life was on the island, it's not a real life i don't think, i think it's all just made up based on relationships people acquired over the course of the flight and the rest was imagination, like "what would happen if this crashed omg"

if it's that simple and bitchy in the end, i will go punch the director in the face

its such a huge fuck you to the audience to just make it all fake that there needs to be some form of legit explanation or im gonna be pissed
 
i wonder which 'life' is the 'real' one. the one where the plane actually lands or the one where they crash on the island? obviously both can't happen. i wonderrrrr

well with parallel universes they would both exist and both be real. You would need a way to access higher dimensions to see or cross into them. There's a lot of theories and it's just a tv show so anything can happen.

I try not to think about how everything is possible and instead just let it play out. So far everything makes pretty good sense, mostly because they keep explaining things by introducing new ideas. For example I've just accepted the fact that there's a smoke monster on the island and am waiting for a reasonable explanation. If by the end of the season they give a bs reason or just don't explain it then I'll be very disappointed.
 
Lost= more addictive then crack.... Rehab clinics are gonna be nuts when this shit finishes!! I love the fact it's such an intense show... But I fear a huge anticlimax- hope I'm wrong!!
 
ya if they end it with the island being Hurley's imagination or something like that (which some people have hypothesized) I will be an extremely angry viewer
 
that is exactly how i feel

thinking about long term it just seems like they've dug themselves into a hole and the explanation at the end could be completely credibly and well done or it could be ridiculous
 
I'm pretty sure they've known how it's going to end for the last few years. It's just been a matter of how long the show is going to run so they've had to do some crazy stuff to keep it going. I'm super curious as to how it's going to end and how we are going to get there.
 
i'm just hoping it's somewhat tangible and not just like "magic...the end" and i really don't want it to be someone's imagination or dream the whole time

fuck yeah that was sick, and maybe jack makes lock non parilized if the plane never crashed???? and as a result of this lock was able to walk on the island

Interesting the black and white pebbles balanced evenly, like ying and yang, good and evil- then the dude in lockes body just lobs the white (good?) one into the sea!!! That can only result in some kind of shit storm!!
 
i think he did that because jacob represented the 'good' or 'white', and now that hes dead theres nothing to balance the 'evil' or 'black' so he threw it out into the ocean because its meaningless now

A pretty shit claim but while we are on the subject.

I have never seen Lost before but last Friday my friend lent me all 5 seasons as I haven't got a job at the minute. So I sat down and started watching. I feel proud in saying I watched all 5 seasons in 5 days, that is over 100 hours!

I have now lost all muscle mass all over my body.

It is so much better to watch them all one after another as you need to remember little things from previous seasons.

Great show and I look forward to the finale.
 
Ok so - any new theories after tonight? Claire is blatantly a bad ass along with Lock....
What's the deal with Jacob returning....? well as a vision to Hurley?
Im still like Wut? But apparently - answers are coming?! FTW.....

 
kinda freaked out a little when claire said 'this is my friend' about locke, who clearly isnt locke (duh) i also hope she doesnt kill kate..
