Official Holiday Valley / Kissing Bridge Thread

2 launch boxes, some rail gardens, the stair setup, along with 2 sets of his and hers at the top of the 360 and 2 solo jumps at the bottom
 
The park at Peak is super fun right now, I haven't been to HV recently so I can"t compare it though.
 
I dont find the park at HV too bad, but its not great thats for sure. The airbag they had there this past weekend was sick, finally tried some backflips!

HV revamped their park on foxfire, better than before now that it has a bunch more features and jumps. New jumps are sketch with shitty lip making and no lip markings. Although rails need waxing.
 
Shit dude, I was there all weekend, I ski HV every weekend so PM me any body and maybe we can ski together( better than skiing with my mom in the park)
 
Going to be back in WNY in a week to head back to college. Saw KB post something about there big park opening and it looked pretty sick. How's Holiday?
 
Holiday isn't too bad, but It could be much better, some jumps are super sketch. they have Snoozer and foxfire built up, they should fit more features into both, that'd be sweet. Also the lack of boxes that are in disappoints me in and I'd rather them have smaller jumps as I am a noob in the park.

Line Traveling Circus is going to be at Holiday Valley this Sunday (Jan 26).
 
Ah shit man! and I fucking hope so! I'm so stoked for TC. As to your jump size question, I suck at estimating gap distances but 20-25' for the biggest and then two 12-15' and another around 18'. Plus one more that has been closed that's about 15' (not sure why its closed, has been since they build it...). I've hit all the jumps but the closed one obvs. and a 18 footer, they aren't too bad! but like I stated before I'd rather small-medium sized jumps to help me learn easier.
 
At first the rail situation was kinda fucky. But now, I´m not mad at it. They have a lot of rails set on foxfire, there are some problems with them like shitty lips and all, but they have a lot of them and the rails themselves aren´t bad. A corrugated pipe, donkey dick, and flatbar down rail at the top. Then there´s a set of three rails to the right, a flat bar, flat down, and a down, with a flat down flat in the middle, then a pyramid rail and a cannon rail after the set of 3. Then theres a jump with a C box on the side. Then a closeout tube with a wallride on the side and some stairs, with a low tube to the left. then at the bottom there's a tube, a double barrel flat rail, and another tube.
 
Yes snoozer has 2 jumps 15' and an 18ish jump, with 4 features in between them, a small stupid rainbow box, up down rail i think and some others. Moon shadow has the Boarder/ skier cross set up on it which is fun to rip around. And bottom of mardi gras has butter ramp to small butter box, up down A frame box i guess you'd call it. another butter ramp, up down flat rail, and side was butter box thats fucking useless.... Oh and a sweet hand rail at the end :) I enjoy that one.

Im so stoked to ski with 5 of my buddies that are all going with me this weekend and for TC !

I have a white helmet, NWT3K purple blue and green coat and purple pants, showout if you see me, Im there every weekend.
 
For those wondering... Holidays park sucks except for about 2 rails. The jumps are fucked and two of my friends got hurt recently on them pretty bad. If you want a decent park you'll either want holimont during the week (very small features but set up well), Kissing Bridge, or Peek. Also, I'm always at holiday on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays so if you see a kid wearing a ns jacket or a big red hoodie say what's up.
 
whats at holimont look like, i might pop over there tomorrow?

I'm no newb in any way, but I'm pretty conservative when it comes to jumps being safe. Esp after blowing out my knee on holidays foxfire's (almost) always sketch step-down a few years back.. whats the deal with holidays jumps? speed issues or more about pitches matching up? steep/ big enough landings?
 
I'll have to keep a eye out for you dude, I ski HV every weekend. I've go a purple chest/blue sleeve/green sleeve coat and purple pants, and a white helmet, but im not that great in the park so i'd like some pointers and someone good in the park to ski with

Holidays jumps are just built wrong... They are designed for you to overshoot with extremely poppy take offs and very short landings. Word is that holimonts jumps are prime and they have like a 20,30, and 40 ft jump. As far as jumps go... I don't even try jumps at holiday anymore, the risk is too high. Either go to kb or holimont.
 
Ya I know trip post, and dude holiday has a bunch of really good riders so if you just see a few kids killing it go up to them and ask for pointers.
 
Ride valley last Monday and was a pleasure to see Dylan Manley shredding. Such a cool dude and so stoked. But the parks were pretty whack. Jumps built wrong, landings too flat, and tables too short. Haven't been to KB yet but it sounds like I should asap
 
Urban hop on, i go on urban for most rails in the park except for the Gatorade up rail, and ya the rails aren't too bad but they're not what they could be
 
i should try to urban on more, i only do the second last double pipe rail urban. oh and what are some tips to ride out the donkey dick rail at the top? i trick it a bunch but it bucked me a lot
 
You just have to absorb it but its hard to coach it through here, it's the hardest rail in the park right now and it more of a visual thing than anything. If I see you I'll help you out but ya just try and absorb it a little and stay centered.

Ya im there all the time, I was at tell a friend with halo 2 skis, purple pants and a newschoolers jacket and I think I saw you
