Official Holiday Valley / Kissing Bridge Thread

To the Robbie kid at valley yesterday wanting to fight me and my little brother, chill out. Usually such good vibes in foxfire park this year

Yes there yesterday and it was rad. Everything was so soft. Threw some backies off the bigger step up jump

I was scooting across the up rail to spinny barrel thing they put it to get on the drop in the the jumps. I was doing this all day after hitting the flat down rail on the right side and skating up onto the drop in ramp next to the triple shotgun rail. No one was barely ever hitting the barel spinny thing so for most of the day I just skated right in front of it. This Robbie kid..a boarder...dropped in on it as I was scooting across. He yelled bad words and I managed to move enough for him to hit the thing. I didn't see or hear him (earbuds and music). The kid keeps cussing me out down the hill so I threw up the bird an told him to chill out I'm sorry its my fault and my bad. The kid takes of his board and walks up the hill cussing and my 16 year old bro who's farther down the Hill towards the kid starts jawwin at him. They get face to face and I told Robbie's friends to get him to back off because if he touches my bro I would come down there and he wouldn't be ok when I was done with him. It eventually defused after the friends got involved. It was just surreal how seriously this kid took the sport. Like he's going pro or something. It's what ever..and now pretty comical thinking on it

That's ridiculous. It seems like a lot of the times at Holiday people are way too serious and never socialize or anything. It seems like everyone there is trying to go pro. That and the fact that there are a plethora of gapers and douchey snowboarders from highschool ski clubs.

I'm at the park enough to be able to befriend a lot of riders and overall you just gotta talk to people and be friendly. Generally anywhere people aren't overly friendly so I usually try to be

Was it young robbie knabb? Cant say i know him personally, but ive heard he can be a lil fucker sometimes

Everyone has been so cool there this season, but there had to be the kid that ruined it (I'm the 16 year old bro by the way). Sad part his he still stomped the trick he wanted. Was freaking out about "park etiquette" while ironically he failed to call his drop. He didn't bother to get mad at the countless non-park riders snaking through features, only had time for me and my brother who were pretty much the only park riders there that night other than his crew. I don't care if he was having a bad day, or if he's good, or whatever, I completely lost all respect for the kid.

Haven't been there yet but my guess would be super clean and legit rail features that are generally smallish with a few small jumps

KB has a nice rail setup in their main park. They also have some sketchy looking huge ass kickers at the bottom of the run.

Sick video. The park actually looks significantly nicer/cleaner than HV's. It's been a straight minute since I've been to KB (2 Years), and I miss it. I've skied at Holiday now because of more opportunities for rides down and most of my friends ski there, but I'm thinking about getting my pass at KB next year. They have the nicest fries at KB.

About 2 weeks ago. They have a rather nice 45 footer but the landing isn't as steep as the old one. Can't take it as deep.

Anyone wanna go up to holiday valley tomorrow and bring me along for the ride. I hear they're getting lots of fresh snow

Whats the progression park and rail park setup? I'm looking for smaller features that are good for progression. Also, if I'm looking for smaller progression features, would I be better off at Peek n Peak or the Valley? inb4 "noob" please no hate

Snoozer park at valley is pretty clean and smallish. Good small jumps and jibs. Progression parks pretty cool with a good flow. Small. Foxfire is bigger but everything's hit able at least for me.
