My 2018 ARV86s just got delivered. The graphic on them is unreal! Interestingly though it says they're made in the Czech Republic. I thought all their skis came out of Austria? Anyone know what thats all about? Hopefully the quality is unchanged!

Armada has contracted skis out to multiple factories operated by Atomic and Blizzard. The higher end metal laminate skis are produced by Blizzard (Invictus 108, declivity, ARV 106). Most of the others are produced by Atomic. Atomic has multiple factories in Austria and Eastern Europe to include Chech Republic and Bulgaria. Lower price point skis like the ARV 86 and 96 are produced in those factories with cheaper labor. The JJ and TST are produced in the Atomic Austrian facility.

You can also compare SNs to determine which factory they came from

Gotcha, my previous AR6, 7 and JJ are all made in Austria so I was kinda surprised that these weren't. At any rate, the Czech Rep is pretty close to Austria anyway haha.

Actually 86 and 96 are made in a Head Factory, but same situation as Atomic, one of their eastern europe subsidiaries.

I have hit up like 5 people for a 2018 softgoods and zero lookbook and can't get a response. I have scoured the internet. Where can I find them?

Yeah its set to drop end of September I belive but there are thing I know 100% I'll order and want to get out of the way in one order. And if they don't have anything I want I'll make plans for other companies but if there is a ton of cool shit I'll have more time to save dollars

If the brand does not sell direct-to-consumer, then they don't offer consumer catalogs & lookbooks. They only offer them to dealers, so you will have to ask a shop or a shop employee for them.

For these brands, their websites go live in early Fall.

Yes that why I said it drops September, thanks though. However you can order from the manufacturer in the case pf armada but regardless, through ski team though I should be able to place an order as an athlete.

Any more info on these?

Could be a great quiver ski. I hope they make a 190

I have to imagine that since Logan no longer works for Armada, and they just got sold to Amer that these will not be seeing the light of day.

Eh they're in good hands with Hans and Andy, without giving too much away some of the construction methods that I used might not be feasible with our production facilities anyways. There's a lot more to that ski than what you can see in that photo. We will see though, maybe when I get my shop set up in Alaska I'll try and prototype that idea some more

Bet those won't be on there long. Zero stuff isn't supposed to be online. We have them all at Slope Style here in Breck as well, we can always take phone orders if you really want them.

Whenever I've seen them online they won't ship outside of the country, don't know if that's the case here tho

Different countries have different rules, like this site will probably get away with selling em online when they were told not to. Oh well! In the U.S. it's probably the most strictly enforced.

You can buy them online in the U.K. And Australia but the us is pretty strict about it. Always thought they should make last years zero available so they can move the stock

4FRNT is bringing back the MSP for their 15 year anniversary..

Supposed to be like 99mm waist, >20m radius.

The new MSP181 will be 99 waist with an 18mm side cut and two layers of metal. Lengths will be 159,161,165,171,176.181 and 187. The waist will remain at 99mm so the sidecut will change on the various lengths.
